The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the door’s open for an exciting comeback – one that could affect Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) future in a big way.
Back in 2021, Kiara Barnes left the part of Zoe Buckingham and began another role on the Fantasy Island reboot.
Fox canceled the show after two seasons, so now Barnes might be available for a B&B return.
It’d at least be worth reaching out to Barnes and seeing if she’d be interested. Carter loved Zoe once upon a time, so she could definitely serve as some competition for Katie.
If Katie had to worry about sharing Carter’s heart with someone else, that could level the playing field for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
One of Carter’s selling points is the fact that he only wants Katie and will be loyal, so maybe the show should yank that away and see how Katie reacts.
It could leave Katie drifting back in Bill’s direction sooner or later. Of course, it’s possible B&B could really pull off a dramatic curveball if Zoe returns with Carter’s child!
Considering Zoe’s abrupt departure and the time she’s spent offscreen, her comeback storyline could easily include a kid that’d be a little over a year old by now.
Zoe might’ve concealed her pregnancy and hid the truth from Carter after their baby’s birth.
It’d be great if Zoe showed up and derailed some important moment – like Carter’s marriage proposal to Katie or even their wedding.
Carter would certainly be shocked if Zoe showed up with a little boy or girl.
That could leave Carter doing some mental calculations and demanding answers about whether this child belonged to him.
Then again, the whole point of Zoe’s return could be that she feels guilty for keeping Carter’s son or daughter away and now wants to make things right.
Carter has expressed his desire to have a family, so could Katie really compete with Zoe if she puts a kid in the mix? Would Katie even want to try?
Katie could end up bailing on Carter like Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) if she decides Carter would be better off with Zoe instead.
Even if Kiara Barnes doesn’t want to reprise her role, there’s always a chance that the show will recast and introduce a new version of Zoe Buckingham.
Regardless, Carter and Katie may need another surprise source of turmoil eventually, so stay tuned for updates on Zoe’s potential return news.
