The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) will face some troubling news soon. It could offer Zende a chance to fight back against Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so let’s talk about the cousin battle that may be brewing.
There’s always been some competition between Zende and Thomas as designers, but the show’s really highlighting it now.
Zende still feels like he’s designing in Thomas’ shadow and recently blamed himself for the Hope for the Future collection’s bad review.
Now that Thomas is trying to rejoin Forrester Creations and save Hope for the Future with some hot new looks, that’s only going to add to the drama.
Zende must be feeling inadequate and fed up with Thomas always stealing the spotlight.
However, Thomas’ interest in Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) may be the last straw.
B&B fans know Thomas accepted Paris’ move-in offer, so they’ve been flirting and growing closer behind closed doors.
Zende seemed poised to get a second chance with Paris back at Christmas, but that apparently didn’t pan out.
That brings us to the troubling news that’s headed Zende’s way.
Since Zende told Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) that he’s just friends with Paris now, he may fume as Thomas steals the heart of the woman he truly wants.
It’d be nice to see Zende stop being such a doormat and fight back.
Zende surely won’t want Paris in a relationship with someone as dangerous and reckless as Thomas.
Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) should disapprove as well and may once again push Zende to make something happen.
Perhaps Grace will believe Zende stands the best shot at shutting down Thomas’ pursuit.
Even if Zende doesn’t pursue Paris for himself again, he might realize he can’t let Thomas devastate her.
Zende may feel the need to protect Paris and try to sabotage Thomas’ efforts to be her boyfriend.
Jealousy could be part of all this if Zende determines that Thomas isn’t going to win this time.
Zende might decide that if he can’t have Paris, then Thomas can’t either!
It’s not fair for Zende to keep facing constant career setbacks and heartache.
Why are B&B writers making Zende such a weak character and never letting anything work out in his favor?
Maybe it’s time to change that by having Zende stand up to Thomas and sabotage the bad boy in Paris’ life.
