Eric Forrester’s Grim Fate

However, the real big story is Eric. Fans already know that Eric is facing a grim diagnosis. Eric insists on keeping it a secret.
Unknown to Eric, though, more people know about his fate than he realizes. Ridge is making sure that his father gets everything he wants while keeping it hidden that he knows the truth.
B&B Spoilers: Brooke Logan Forrester’s Support
Brooke has been really supportive of Ridge dealing with Eric’s prognosis. In fact, it was Brooke that encouraged Ridge “RJ” Forrester, Jr. (Joshua Hoffman) to tell Ridge the truth.
The timing was perfect as Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was about to announce that Ridge was the winner of the fashion showdown. After learning the truth about Eric, Ridge allowed his father to think that he won.
Plus, while Ridge told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about Eric, Brooke told Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). After all, Hope is seeing Thomas and had her own dynamic with Eric.

Now, it is stated that Ridge’s romantic evening for Brooke will be one of gratitude. So, it sounds like Ridge is thanking Brooke for her support.
