The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, September 8, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will wallow in heartache and fill Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) in on Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) decision to leave the country.
Although Li will have sympathy for her son, she’ll also blast Finn for allowing things to reach this point.
Li will feel like Finn should’ve found a way to shut Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) out of his marriage and make sure he kept his family intact.
Once the topic of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) comes up, Li will wonder if Steffy’s ex-husband still wants her back.
Finn will confirm that Liam still loves Steffy and that he’d like a do-over, so he’ll definitely worry about what might happen now that Steffy’s on her own.
Liam and Steffy share a daughter, so Finn may assume Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) is going to get visits from her dad overseas.
That means Liam will be bonding with Steffy far away from her current hubby, so Finn may worry his rival could win her over.
The thought of losing Steffy, Kelly and Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks) permanently is too much for Finn to bear, but he won’t know how he can fix this.
As long as Sheila has her freedom, she’ll go wherever Finn goes and try to connect with him.
Finn feels trapped by his birth mom, but Li will insist he has to eliminate Sheila’s threat and fight for his family.
Speaking of family, there’ll be a Spencer clan reunion at the office.
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be back on the scene to speak with Liam and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) about all the latest Steffy, Finn and Sheila news.
Since Bill and Wyatt will try to get through to Liam, they may push him to admit Steffy and Finn’s firm separation has given him hope.
Liam is relieved that Steffy will be protected, but he’s also relieved that she won’t be renewing her romance with Finn – at least not right now.
Although Steffy won’t be living in Los Angeles for a while, her former flame has a golden opportunity here. Liam can still have private time with Steffy once she gets settled, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Regardless, Liam will ultimately promise himself that he’s going to do everything in his power to reunite with Steffy.
At Forrester Creations on Friday’s B&B episode, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will push for peace when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) clashing session gets out of hand.
RJ will be offended on Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) behalf since Ridge is trying to brush off his legacy line ideas.
That’ll leave RJ firmly on “Team Eric,” so he’ll make that clear to Ridge and Brooke with his supportive words for his grandfather.
