The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, May 8, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will have a hard time buying Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) version of events.
Hope will get flustered over Steffy’s latest allegations since she got caught sweetly holding Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) hands on the job.
When you throw in the way they were locking eyes and complimenting each other, it’s easy to see why Steffy suspects Hope has feelings for Thomas.
Of course, Steffy just asked if that was true and will hope for an honest answer, but she’ll be skeptical when Hope acts like it was just a case of overdoing a celebratory moment.
Hope was ecstatic over the preorder numbers, so she’ll insist she just got a little carried away when she was thanking Thomas for all his help.
After Hope urges Steffy to forget her fears, she may hope she can count on Steffy not to mention this to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Hope won’t want Liam blowing this out of proportion, but Steffy may not like the idea of keeping secrets from her ex.
However, Steffy might realize spilling the news would just make life harder for Thomas.
Since Steffy feels like Hope was the one flirting, she may warn Hope not to do it again and let it slide for Thomas’ sake.
The last thing Thomas needs is for Liam to have another reason to attack him! Steffy may keep that in mind when it comes to deciding how much to divulge – at least for now.
As for Hope, B&B spoilers say she’ll do everything in her power to avoid becoming just like her mother.
It seems like Hope is constantly haunted by the idea of falling for bad boys and blowing up her committed relationship like Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has done so many times before.
Hope will give Liam some extra attention at home to make up for the forbidden desires she’s battling, so Liam may wonder why she’s suddenly all about injecting more romance into their marriage.
Meanwhile, Thomas will battle suspicions about Hope’s feelings for him. Based on Thomas’ expression in the aftermath of the hand-holding incident, it seemed like the wheels were turning and making him curious about Hope’s attraction.
Steffy may voice her own suspicions to Thomas after her Hope faceoff and confirm the vibe he’s already picking up.
