The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, June 8, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will have another tense conversation about a familiar topic.
Whenever Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) comes up in a discussion, you can bet it’s always going to turn into a fight. As far as Liam is concerned, Thomas is bad news and has been for years!
Liam just can’t overlook Thomas’ past mistakes – no matter how many times Hope insists her design partner is a changed man.
With that in mind, Liam will strongly object to Thomas going on this trip with Hope.
When Liam suggests Hope should leave Thomas in Los Angeles, she’ll think the notion is ridiculous.
How is Hope supposed to debut a new fashion collection without her lead designer?
Besides, Thomas deserves to be front and center since he’s the reason Hope for the Future survived.
This is Thomas’ chance to shine, so Hope certainly won’t take that away from him and will believe Liam is overreacting to a simple business trip.
Unfortunately, Liam won’t think it’s ever that simple with Thomas, especially now that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has got him all worried about Hope’s potential feelings being a problem, too.
Although Hope will stand her ground on taking Thomas with her to the fashion preview, Liam’s gut feeling will leave him worried about what might go down in Italy.

When Thomas learns Steffy accused Hope of having romantic feelings for him and then told Liam about those feelings, he’ll be in disbelief.
Thomas will struggle to believe that what Steffy witnessed really counts as flirting.
At first, Thomas may defend Hope and act like Steffy’s making a big deal out of nothing.
Since Steffy added to the friction in Hope and Liam’s marriage, Thomas definitely won’t be happy about that and may scold his sister for interfering.
Even so, Thomas has already had a few moments where he felt an interesting vibe with Hope, so he may reflect on those scenes and wonder if Steffy’s actually got the right idea!
