The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 21, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will be down in the dumps over losing Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). Although Hope is trying to respect Douglas’ choice, that doesn’t make the separation any easier.
After Hope opens up to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about just how much she’s hurting, he’ll do his best to ease her mind.
Liam truly believes their family will be whole again one day soon, so he’ll encourage Hope to be patient and trust Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Steffy has promised to watch over Douglas and make sure Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) doesn’t take advantage of the situation, but B&B spoilers say Hope will still have some concerns.
While Liam tackles this family crisis and tries to lift Hope’s spirits, Thomas will hope for an ally.
Steffy will call Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) to help settle her dispute with Thomas, so their mom will get caught in the middle of the feud.
Of course, Thomas will push Taylor to join his team and help Steffy understand that he needs to spend time with his son.
Steffy, on the other hand, will feel like a bit of distance is best – at least until Douglas settles in and heals following Thomas’ mistakes.
Although Taylor knows Thomas wants to be a better father, she may point out he’s still got some work to do in that department.
Douglas chose to live with Steffy, so she’s the one who gets to set some boundaries now.
Taylor will likely assure Thomas that she’s rooting for him to have a healthy relationship with Douglas – just like Steffy is.
Since that can’t happen overnight, Taylor will make it clear that Douglas’ well-being has to come first for now.
Thomas may have another outburst if he feels like Taylor is teaming up with Steffy instead of him.
As Thomas’ anger grows stronger, that could lead to him making some drastic moves soon enough.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas may fight to make some additional updates to Douglas’ living arrangements, so stay tuned for more custody news.
