The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 9, teases that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) will find himself dwelling on a problem, but he’ll hope Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) can help him nail down a solution.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has been doing everything in his power to get RJ back in the family fold, but RJ wants to do his own thing outside of Forrester Creations.
That’s probably why RJ will make a pitch to Thomas on Tuesday’s B&B episode and hope his big brother’s willing to help him out.
As Thomas and RJ work on reconnecting, they’ll discuss Ridge’s tendency to be a bit overbearing – especially when it comes to his desire for RJ to follow in his fashion designer footsteps.
Once RJ joins forces with Thomas, he may hope they can convince Ridge to dial down his fashion fixation and let RJ forge his own path.
Meanwhile, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will work on dialing down a fixation of her own.
Although Hope wants to concentrate on her marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), she can’t seem to get Thomas out of her head.
At the cabin, Hope will treat Liam to a romantic evening, but the real goal will be easing her own guilt and trying to push her feelings for Thomas aside.
It doesn’t look like Hope will mention anything about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) calling her out for flirting with Thomas since she pushed Steffy to keep that “misunderstanding” under wraps.
Although Hope will strip down and get passionate with Liam under the covers, she won’t be able to shake her thoughts of Thomas.
We’ll likely see more instances of Hope imagining Thomas when she should be enjoying lovemaking with her own husband!
Thomas will invade Hope’s brain, but she’ll hide the truth from Liam and highlight her commitment to him.
Of course, Liam will assure Hope that the only doubts he has are about Thomas and his pattern of behavior – not about the love they share in their marriage.
At some point within the next episode or two, Hope will get updates on a San Francisco trip that she’ll have to take with Thomas.
