The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, July 19, indicates that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will seal their future when they put their signatures down on the divorce papers.
Liam was the one who initially pushed to end their marriage, but now Hope agrees it’s the right call. Of course, Hope and Liam have very different reasons for giving up on their relationship.
Liam still doesn’t understand how Hope could have feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and kiss him in Rome. Since Liam doesn’t trust Hope anymore, he just doesn’t see how they can make this work.
Hope, on the other hand, feels like her decision to turn to Thomas started with Liam’s waffling.
Liam has always had a backup love interest in Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so Hope’s done pretending she can ever have Liam’s whole heart.
Although Hope will keep pressuring Liam to take some responsibility for his role in driving them apart, it doesn’t look like Liam will budge.
Hope and Liam may agree to disagree as they sign the divorce papers and say a tough farewell to each other.
Liam will take his wedding band off now that he knows Hope’s taken off her own.
B&B will offer some emotional yet tense scenes as Hope and Liam try to get some closure.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy will show up and find that Hope’s betrayal with Thomas is a hot topic around the office – especially with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman).
RJ may admit he paid Liam a visit at Spencer Publications and encouraged him to take Hope back, but Liam stood his ground. Ridge may think Liam just needs more time, but RJ may not be sure time will fix this.
As for Steffy, it looks like she’ll be stuck mulling over the lip locks Liam stole from her.
Steffy will likely continue to keep those two kisses to herself, especially since John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is so on edge about Liam sniffing around again.
In jail, Mike Guthrie (Ken Hanes) will arrange for a guard (Akeem Mair) to take him into the inmate visitors’ area where he’s talked to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) before.
Since Sheila’s trial is happening later this week, Mike will get updates on that news and presumably wish her luck.
Naturally, Mike may not have high hopes for Sheila wiggling out of trouble, but she might hint at having a few tricks up her sleeve.
