In tonight’s The Equalizer episode, Robyn McCall’s ex was fighting her for custody of their daughter, Delilah. Delilah was a teenage girl. Meaning she was of age to decide where she’ll live. It doesn’t make sense why her dad would go through a trial just to hear her say that she wants to stay with her mom.

She likes it there. She loves her mom. She also loves her dad. She doesn’t want them fighting in court. Not over her. Delilah blames herself for this. She stopped being her happy self. She became withdrawn and its gotten so bad that everyone’s noticed.

Everyone but her dad. Miles doesn’t get what he’s doing with all of this. He thought he was protecting Delilah and that doesn’t count if he also happens to be hurting Delilah. Delilah was shut down. Her mom wanted to hide in work and her friends weren’t letting her.

Mel and Harry told Robyn to focus on her family. They said they would deal with the new case. They gave Robyn the chance she needed to go talk to Miles. Robyn later asked Miles to meet up with her at the house. And there she did the best she could to talk Miles out of taking her to court.

Mel and Harry meanwhile worked on the case. They were approached by a woman who said her Jewish community has come under attack. Their small community in Midtown Brooklyn has been harassed. Their stores as well as synagogue has been graffitied.

Their faith has been spit on and the police won’t do anything to help. The hate crime task force was overburdened. They were dealing with so much hate that there wasn’t anyone to protect this little community. Nor were the police able to help after a woman was injured by trying to stop some of the hate crime.

The woman’s name is Cheryl. She works at the deli. She wasn’t technically Jewish. Only she was converting because she felt the community took her in after her husband died.

She found their faith beautiful and she wanted to become one of them. Cheryl didn’t even change her mind about converting after she got hurt. She still wants to join. Her teenage son however thought converting would be too dangerous. Cheryl hadn’t just faced assault. She was also getting threatening letters in the mail and so Harry looked into them.

The letters were all cut out of a comic book. It was an obscure comic book that Harry manages to track down to that area. The comic book was supposedly about an alien invasion when in actuality it was all about the belief how Caucasians think the Jewish race was controlling the world.

There was a group of white people that wanted to be repressed so bad that they’ve started to believe that minorities all have a hidden agenda to overthrow them and they’re calling on people to come fight or else white people were no longer going to be in control of the world. It was all very stupid.

Yet somehow it was also very profitable. These hateful people were looking for a justification for their hates and they weren’t going to let common sense or simple facts get in the way of that. Hence they bought the comic book. Harry and Mel were doing their best to look into it when a rabbi was beaten up.

The couple was able to trace the attack on the rabbi back to Cheryl’s son, Wesley. Wesley didn’t care that it was Jewish people who gave his mom a job or who helped him with school or that neither he nor his mom would have anything without these people. He still took part in the attacks on them.

Cheryl wasn’t supposed to get hurt. She went in on her day off and that’s how she got injured. Not that her son seemed to care either way that she was injured. Wes claimed that the Jewish people she works for had treated her like a servant. Always at their beck and call. The truth is she was treated as an employee and that’s usually what happens with a job. Which is probably why Wes didn’t understand it because he wasn’t employed. Wes got indoctrinated through his local comic bookstore.

The man who owns the store was actually the creator of this mystery comic book. Harry realizes that when he wondered why the guy kept ordering the book if no one was supposedly reading it. Harry also got in trouble with Detective Dante after he attacked Wes.

Wes spouted some racist crap to Harry and he flipped out. Harry was half-Jewish. He was actually raised in that community until his parents got divorced and his mother’s depression stopped her for fighting for joint custody. Harry later apologized for his behavior. He also made up for it by stopping the comic book store guy from slaughtering a bunch of Jewish people at the synagogue during prayer.

Harry found their website where they uploading all of their videos to. He saw that they had something planned and so he, Mel, and Robyn stopped them. They had to kill a few of them but they stopped them. Robyn couldn’t get Miles to drop the custody case. She also heard from Delilah that Delilah was basically going to give up and go live with her dad so that he wouldn’t out her mom as the vigilante. And so Robyn was going to give up being a vigilante when Aunt Vi stepped up.

Aunt Vi basically used some dirty information on Miles to remind him that he also has secrets. Secrets she could go to the press about if he didn’t drop the custody case and so he walked back his decision to take full custody of Delilah. And Delilah didn’t have to choose between her parents.

But ultimately the racists were all stopped before a massacre and they were promptly arrested. The idiots even tried to livestream their attack. Harry hacked into the feed and he outed all the secret closeted racists to their jobs and loved ones. And so now they will know what its like to be oppressed.

THE END!
