Emotions run high as each of the remaining two women contemplate the significance of the days ahead, but it’s Gerry who will need to reckon with the consequences once he says “I love you” to both of them.
Difficult conversations lie ahead for the couples, but will the long-anticipated alone time with Leslie and Theresa offer the clarity he needs to get down on one knee, or will he be left as confused as ever?”

In tonight’s #TheGoldenBachelor, Gerry had to make a choice tonight. He had to choose between Leslie and Theresa. Some may have felt that Faith should be in the final two, but Gerry ultimately decided that his future wasn’t with her.
He was in love. It just wasn’t with her. It was with the two women tonight. He had to build his future with one of them and he had to introduce them to his family before he could make a choice. He also has to get around to hard questions. He brought that up with Leslie. She’s never asked him a tough question before. And so tonight she asked him when’s the last time he had sex?
Gerry had at first needed clarification. He wanted to know if sex with himself counted or if she was asking him when’s the last time he slept with someone else? Which he never did answer by the way.
He was too busy blushing and laughing. Though Leslie wasn’t the last person to seriously question Gerry. Jesse asked him what he liked about both women. Gerry loves how playful Leslie is. He loves the joy that she brings. He loves her. He also loves Theresa. Theresa understood him best of all. She knows what it’s like to lose a spouse and to try and rebuild all over again.
Both women brought out a different side to him. Tonight he decided to test out intimacy. Gerry hasn’t been intimate with anyone in a long time and so a part of him wondered about that connection.
He knows that intimacy knocks down all the walls both he and the women have put up to protect themselves. Even if it wasn’t sex. The falling asleep in each other’s arms or simply getting naked in front of the other brings out an honesty that all parties need if they want to build a future together.
Gerry first took Leslie scaling down a cliff. It was something Gerry was interested in only Leslie had never envisioned that for herself before. They scaled down a waterfall.
They then swam in its easy pools of water at the bottom. And they talked. Leslie never saw herself doing this before because she never got to a point where she could trust someone so openheartedly. Gerry makes her feel brave. He makes her feel secured and after she had to go on a man cleanse she was no longer interesting in things that were fleeting. She wants to build a love that lasts forever.
Leslie loves being with Gerry. He gives her safety. He gives her joy. Gerry would later invite Leslie into the fantasy suite. Gerry put such emphasis on the Fantasy Suite because he couldn’t wait to talk more with Leslie.
They talked into the long night. They could have done more only Gerry won’t say. He said it’s nobody else’s business what they did in the fantasy suite. Gerry also said goodbye to Leslie after their date before he had to go on a new date with Theresa. He took her horseback riding. And he was really quiet for most of the ride.
Theresa could see that something was going on. She tried to talk to him about it. She checked in with him. She comforted him and all he could feel was that while Theresa was perfect for him – he couldn’t take his mind off Leslie. Leslie was the person that sparked joy.
Theresa was the person that got him. She will always comfort Gerry. She will support Gerry through anything and he loves her for it. It’s just not the same as what he has with Leslie. Gerry still brought Theresa to the Fantasy Suite because he wanted to have a longer conversation with her.
Gerry found out that Theresa was a homemaker when suddenly she started buying and selling stock. She became a day trader all on her own. She then joined a company with her husband encouraging her to do so and she beat out a bunch of twenty years olds with her homegrown experience.
Theresa was self-taught. She was smart and she was driven. She will also walk away from it all if Gerry asked her to. She loves him that much. She wants to be a part of his future. Theresa would later stay in the Fantasy Suite with Gerry.
Theresa hasn’t spent a night with anyone other than her late husband. Gerry won’t reveal what happened in the Fantasy Suite. All he’ll say was that he could see a future with Theresa.
He loves her. He also loved Leslie. The women offered different things. He was two different people around them. He could speak about his late wife with Theresa. He could be goofy with Leslie. Both women love him. They want to say yes if they receive proposals at the end of this. And while he didn’t get to introduce either of them to families just yet – next week shows he got a ring.
Gerry was going to propose to someone soon.
