Tonight on NBC their new medical drama “The Good Doctor” airs with an all-new Monday, April 10, 2023, episode and we have you The Good Doctor recap below. Andrews and Lim clash over a patient split nearly in half, which also reveals her issues with Dr. Kalu’s return. Meanwhile, Dr. Glassman gives Dr. Murphy some fatherly advice as they await news about Glassman’s recent tests.”

In tonight’s The Good Doctor episode, Shaun scans Aaron’s brain in the lab. Aaron refused chemo. Shaun tells him he chose wrong since he sees a spot on his brain. Meanwhile, Morgan learns she has two embryos available to her.
The doctors receive a scary case. A worker who is rushed in and has sheet metal through his abdomen that nearly cut him in half. He also has a sucking chest wound.
Aaron sits with a doctor. He and Shaun argue. Aaron agrees to have the spot tested. Audrey tells her team about the man named Brady who has almost been cut in half. She tells her residents to do all they can in terms of research to save him.
Morgan helps a homeless man outside thee hospital. He is from a nearby encampment. He has a friends baby. She was taken by ambulance and the EMTs didn’t notice she had a child. Morgan sees the baby is blue. She brings her in for testing. She has Turner’s Syndrome and it appears it has effected her heart. They have only a few days to operate.
The residents divide their work and research for Brady in terms of his chest wound, the metal sitting on his spinal column and more as he has multiple injuries. They argue about the scans and what to do with Brady’s severely damaged pelvis.
Shaun sits with Aaron and drives him crazy about what he needs to do to deal with his cancer. Aaron tells him he doesn’t have cancer. Just then they are interrupted by Lea who needs Shaun to go shopping for a baby crib after work. After Shaun leaves, Aaron tells Lea he is really fine.
In surgery, Audrey and Marcus argue over how to save Brady’s lower half.
The residents sit and map out how to fix his arteries, pelvis, and more and how to help him heal fast. They argue over their plan. Audrey steps in and tells them to deal with it. Meanwhile, Morgan visits the baby’s mom who is intubated. She learns the mom has a psych history but recently got back on her meds.
Aaron and Shaun shop for cribs while arguing about Shaun’s potential cancer diagnosis. Shaun sits him down. If he has been diagnosed again its will be stage four and there is nothing they can do. Shaun gets sad before asking Aaron parenting questions.
Audrey and Marcus argue about the residents and saving Brady’s lower half. Marcus doesn’t have much faith in the resident’s. Audrey is frustrated. The baby’s mom codes. Morgan rushes to her room. Asher and Jared finally share a moment about why Jared is so negative. He took a risk and a patient died. Asher tells him they need to take risks, they need to fight for their patients.
Shaun and Aaron sit and look over the crib’s instructions. Aaron shares how he missed too much of his daughter’s milestones. Aaron knows he will do better. Shaun thinks so too. He gets a text, the baby needs surgery. Aaron tells him to go. Save that baby while he builds the crib.
The residents all get on the same page with a solid plan to save Brady. Audrey loves their plan. They get to work. Surgery goes well until half way through. The patient starts to become ischemic. His vitals drop. Audrey comes with her quick thinking, she has a plan. They just need to trust her. Morgan rushes to see the baby’s mother and sees that she didn’t make it.
Audrey and the residents save Brady’s life and are thanked by his wife and daughter. Shaun passes up a case to his colleague to spend more time on his baby’s upcoming birth. Aaron finds out he is still cancer free. Morgan stays with the baby who cries in the nursery. The others are too busy to comfort her. Morgan feels compelled to watch over her. At home, Shaun sees Aaron missed a step building the crib. He tells Lea with a distraught face that something is still wrong with Aaron even of it isn’t cancer.
