In tonight’s The Masked Singer episode, it was DC Superheroes night on the show! They all came dressed as their favorite DC character. Ken was dressed the Riddler. Nicole was dressed as Catwoman. Jenny was as Harley Quinn. Robin was dressed as Batman’s sidekick. He was Robin. Although, it was his own take on the Robin costume that left a lot to be desired.

He dressed in the sidekick’s colors and he had the prominent “R” displayed on his chest except he was still rocking a suit. Nick did something similar. It was hard to tell which character he was because he was rocking a multi-colored jacket that had an “N” on it. And so an actual costume would have told people what his character was.

Only tonight wasn’t about the host or the judges. It was about the performers. The Gargoyle was up first. His clue package had everything from a credit card to a “I Love LA” sign. He also talked a little about himself. He mentioned that people were passing on him for years before he was finally noticed. The word “passing” could mean basketball because he also said that his dad helped him get his head in the game and now he was part of a team. He wasn’t really notable on his own or so he claims yet he had been a part of history.

Now, Lebron just made history with basketball. The Gargoyle could have been his teammate and was on the LA Lakers. Robin thought he was Antonio Gates. He was a famous basketball player. He also broke records and he was with the LA Chargers. Ken naturally went as far left as he could because he thought the Gargoyle was the Weekend. The crowd booed him for that. They didn’t care that he was making connection between the clues and the star. They still laughed at him. Nicole however thought the Gargoyle was Odell Beckham Jr. He was a basketball player. He was also a proven singer and so her theory could pan out.

Next up the Wolf. The Wolf had a saxophone in his clue package. He mentioned that he was the king of seduction and that at least one baby was alive now because of him. His clue package showed a clock as well as a cheetah rug. He also did a magic trick to arrive on the stage without anyone noticing. But his voice was unmistakable. Robin and Jenny recognized it right away and so they said the Wolf was in fact Michael Bolton. Ken of course disagreed only that voice. That voice was so unique that there was no way anyone could forget it.

The Squirrel went on next. She mentioned how she was a figure skater with Olympic dreams and that her big break came when she started modeling. She thought she would become a child psychologist only she became a model. She started acting and she’s made out with Tom Cruise. There was also a castle in her clue package that could mean anything. The Squirrel had an amazing performance tonight. She could be anyone and indeed the clues had the judges all over the place with their guesses.

Jenny thought the Squirrel could be Katie Holmes. Katie was in “Batman Begins”. She was also on the tall side and the Squirrel did look tall and Katie was once married to Tom Cruise. Except Ken thought differently. Ken thought the Squirrel was Margot Robbie. He said she mentioned being all “dolled up” and Margot was playing Barbie. Margot was also playing Harley Quinn in the DC Universe. She played Tonya Harding in “I, Tonya” and that could be where the figure skating came from.

Ken couldn’t connect her to Tom Cruise, but he said he didn’t know Margot’s private life and she could have dated him for all they knew. Ken made some very interesting guessing tonight. They all did. Robin included. Robin thought the Squirrel was Uma Thurman because again she’s tall. He also thought her voice sounded like Uma Thurman. Only the night had to come to an end. The first person eliminated tonight was the Wolf. Everyone guessed him to be Michael Bolton. He later turned out to be in fact Michael Bolton and so again there was no hiding a voice like that.

The Squirrel and the Gargoyle performed in a sing off for a final spot. They were both great yet the judges chose to eliminate the Gargoyle. The Gargoyle would have to unmask if Jenny hadn’t used the bell to save him. Jenny said the Gargoyle shows promise and that he has to more to offer than just his performance tonight. And so the Gargoyle got to keep his anonymity for one more week.

THE END!
