Tonight’s episode begins with the most important night, it is the first part of the two-part finale. The five coaches are ready to go, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper.

The finalists are from Team Blake: Grace West and NOIVAS, Team Kelly: D. Smooth, Team Niall: Gina Miles and Team Chance: Sorelle.

Grace is 19 years old and she is up first, she is sining, “The Lights Went Out In Georgia,” by Reba MCEntire. Blake thinks she can be the last person to win for his team.

Kelly loves that song and her singing it. She thought it was really great going full voice. Blake says it has been such a short season, but he thought this was important and a good move, he loved the she flowed though it, it was incredible.

D. Smooth is next, and he has a surprise in the finale, he is going to do some 90’s R&B and Kelly is really happy. D. Smooth is singing, “My, My, My,” by Johnny Gill.

Chance thinks it was crazy, insane, one of his favourite performances on he show this season. Kelly says he is already a star, inside and out.

The three sisters, Sorelle, is up next and the singing, “Million Reasons,” by Lady Gaga.

Niall thought it was beautiful and stripped back, absolutely beautiful. Chance is icredibly proud, and he loved hearing them individually, he is so proud.

NOIVAS is up next, but first he reads a letter from his wife and children to give him support. He admits he wouldn’t be on the show if it weren’t for his wife and his children. NOIVAS is singing, “Cold,” by Chris Stapleton.

Kelly loves that song and says it was a great song selection, a smart choice. Blake says he thinks people see him as county, his personality and he makes them feel, he killed it.

Gina sits down with Niall and they talk about her journey. She wants to show a different side of her, so she is singing,”Style,” by Taylor Swift.

Chance thought it was an amazing performance, she is her own artist and he is excited to see her original work when the show it done. Niall says she is a superstar and this was the best pop song for her, it was incredible and he is proud of her.

Grace receives a meaningful message from her grandpa that brings her tears. Grace is singing, “I’ve Got Your Picture,” by Patsy Cline.

Niall says she saved her two best performances from the season for tonight. Some of the stuff she did, the range, is so hard to do, so impressive. Blake says she just did that, that was unbelievable.

NOIVAS sits down with Blake and looks back at his journey on The Voice, and he says he wants to go with another classic hit, he will be singing “Fly Away,” by Lenny Kravitz.

Chance says it was insane, he showed up and that is one of his favourite songs and he let Blake steal him from him. Blake says the finale has just started, he killed it.

Tony award nominee Alex Newell hits the stage to perform a song from “Shucked,” the Broadway musical.

Lewis Capaldi performs, “Wish You The Best.”

D. Smooth reads a special note from his sister, giving him encouragement – then, he turns around and she is there by him. D. Smooth is singing, “What You Won’t Do for Love,” by Bobby Caldwell.

Kelly says he is so cool, he switched up that song, he is so smooth and she is so glad that she witnessed being around him.

Sorelle sits down with their coach Chance and talk about their journey, he thinks they have a great career ahead of them. Sorelle is singing, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Blake says they sound like a record, its unreliable that one person can sing that but to have all three, its a phenomenon. Chance says it is crazy, so cool, the voices were so tight, it was pitch perfect.

Gina reads a letter from her dad, she is so overcome with emotions that she has a hard time reading it. Gina is singing, “Nothing Compares 2 U,” by Sinead O’Connor and dedicates the song to her dad.

Niall says he is so proud of her, he is glad that she choose that song, it was a special moment for him.
