The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that May sweeps is rapidly approaching, so we’ve got a preview of what fans can expect. There’ll be a lot happening in Genoa City, so let’s talk about all the May drama that’s brewing.
For starters, we should talk about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) decision to expose her fake death ruse to Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Phyllis will convince Summer to hide her survival, so that’s bound to take a toll on Summer’s relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Kyle will inevitably sense that something’s off, but Summer will keep piling on the lies anyway.
The truth will have to come out at some point, so can Summer and Kyle’s marriage survive that kind of deception?
In the meantime, sparks will keep flying between Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Of course, things could get complicated if Daniel finds out the Phyllis shocker and has to sneak around to hide it from Lily.
There are some other hot romances to talk about – like Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) since they’ll soon go on their first date and explore the connection they’ve been developing.
After making love, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also have an opportunity to strengthen their bond and get to know each other on an even deeper level.
Now that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) has moved in with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), fans will have a chance to see how that’ll affect their relationship.
Will Devon and Abby keep growing closer or could there be some unexpected bumps in the road?
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) may finally make some progress with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) once she invites him to move in, but things are always going to be rather complicated for these two!
Speaking of complicated couples, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will continue to show his devotion for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and will go to extremes for the woman he adores.
Naturally, we’re gearing up for the countdown to when Jack will find out Phyllis faked her death and framed Diane with Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) help.
The fact that Summer will end up in cahoots with Phyllis should land them both in hot water eventually.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do what he does best and manipulate his children’s lives, so look for him to plot against Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) romance with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Victor will scheme to split up Nick and Sally so that she can hopefully reunite with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and raise their child together.
Unfortunately, Victor’s plans tend to backfire pretty often when it comes to situations like this, but he’ll try it anyway!
Finally, it looks like Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) may expose Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) betrayal and rip into Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for relentlessly pursuing him.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will do her part to set Elena and Nate’s romance up to fail – and from there, she’ll just have to worry about getting Victoria out of the way!
