The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of April 10-14 teases that Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) memorial service will soon get underway, so plenty of people will gather to remember her.
Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will continue to struggle with the grief he’s facing, but a surprise return will make things a little easier.
Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will show up for her grandmother’s service, so Daniel will marvel over her latest homecoming.
Although Daniel will wonder how Lucy made it back on such short notice, there’s an easy answer for that.
Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) has been spending some time with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy in Portugal, so maybe Lucy quickly arranged to fly home with him.
Lucy will feel like Daniel could use her support right about now – and he’ll definitely appreciate his daughter’s comeback, even if the circumstances are heartbreaking.
Of course, something tells us Phyllis may find it difficult to stay away from all the people gathered to mourn the loss. Since Phyllis is actually alive, this presents an interesting opportunity for her.
Phyllis will sneak out of the motel room that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) set her up in, so that may give her a chance to lurk in disguise and listen to what everyone has to say.
Next, Jeremy will return to the motel room and find that Phyllis is gone, so he’ll realize she’s betrayed him by going rogue.
That could have consequences if Jeremy finds Phyllis later and forces her into captivity to prevent their plan’s exposure.
In the meantime, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will have exposure on her mind as well.
Y&R fans can expect Summer to corner Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) with some big news and announce that she needs his help.
When Chance asks what he can do for Summer, she’ll insist that they’re going to expose Phyllis’ murderer!
Summer obviously has the wrong idea here, but that’s exactly what Jeremy and Phyllis intended when they set out to frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Whether Summer wants to take down Diane, Jeremy or both, she’ll count on Chance to help her get justice for her mom.
