The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of August 21-25 reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a goal in mind when she summons Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to her office.
Although Victoria might make it seem like she wants to check in with Kyle about his Newman Media COO job, he’ll quickly realize she has ulterior motives.
Kyle will suggest this feels like a test and will point out the questions are more about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) than they are about him.
Victoria might eventually admit she has some trust issues when it comes to Audra and could perhaps argue that Kyle should, too! Audra definitely looks out for number one, so it’s wise to be wary.
However, Victoria can’t deny the talent and ambition that Audra brings to the table.
Audra is an asset in some ways and a liability in others, so Victoria will want to proceed with caution when it comes to keeping her employed under the Newman umbrella.
Of course, Kyle will no doubt defend Audra as a go-getter who can do great things for Newman Media if she’s given the chance to soar.
At the coffeehouse, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also summon someone for a meeting.
It turns out Sharon will want to speak with Esther Valentine (Kate Linder), so it looks like this will involve a job offer.
Esther will point out that Sharon will have her hands full between Crimson Lights and the business she’s now running with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Sharon will confess that’s why she asked Esther to come over, so she might pitch the idea of Esther running the coffeehouse for her – at least part-time. Esther used to work at Crimson Lights and would be someone Sharon could truly rely on.
Although Esther is still a receptionist at Chancellor-Winters as far as anyone knows, she might be looking for a change.
Since Sharon wants to throw herself into this merger with Nick and Adam, Esther could perhaps help her free up her schedule a bit.
At the athletic club, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will admit she didn’t tell Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) her plans right away since she wasn’t sure how he’d feel about her sticking around town.
In Y&R’s weekly preview video, Daniel says he thinks it’s fantastic and takes Heather’s hand – just in time for an unsettled Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to witness the close moment.
This could lead to some jealousy and concerns about Daniel potentially reuniting with his former flame!
