The Young and the Restless Preview: Week of August 7 – Pre-Trial Betrayal, Scandal Spills and Dirty Negotiations

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of August 7-11 reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will summon Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) for a very important meeting – one that could determine her future.

Once Audra arrives, Adam will offer news on the recording artist scandal that he uncovered.

Audra helped Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) keep it quiet that this artist slept with underaged girls – and they did it to make sure his profitable tour continued.

The recording artist wasn’t arrested until after the tour was completed, but Tucker and Audra knew long before that.

There’ll be some fear in Audra’s eyes once Adam reveals his leverage, but she’ll try to talk her way out of trouble anyway.

“It’s as much in your interest to keep the scandal buried as it is for me and Tucker,” Audra protests to Adam in Y&R’s weekly preview video.

Of course, Adam won’t let Audra manipulate the situation since he’ll feel like he’s got the upper hand.

As long as Audra does whatever he wants, Adam may argue that no one has to hear about that scandal at all.

It sounds like Adam will gain some power over Newman Media thanks to the dirt he’ll have on the division’s CEO.

Meanwhile, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will meet with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) to discuss Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) case.

When Daniel seems far more concerned about protecting Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) than his mother, Heather will wonder what he’s expecting her to do.

After Heather points out that Phyllis is her client, she’ll make it clear that it’s her job to protect Phyllis from legal consequences.

“Even if it means Summer taking the blame?” Daniel asks in Y&R’s latest preview clip.

Although Daniel will step up for Summer’s sake, Heather may refuse to strike a deal with Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) that wouldn’t be in her client’s best interest.

At Jabot, Tucker and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will corner Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to see if he’s ready to commit to their plan against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters).

However, Billy will wonder what’s in it for him, so Ashley and Tucker will have to come up with some personal benefits to make this alliance worth his while.

Of course, Billy could easily be a little too persuaded once he gets updates on what Tucker and Ashley have to offer!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’s the potential for Billy to truly become Ashley and Tucker’s ally, so stay tuned.
