The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of May 8-12 teases that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will have a chat with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) now that they’re housemates at the Abbott mansion. Since Tucker will think Diane needs a way out of there, he’ll insist he can give her that.
Diane had to surrender her passport and agree to wear an ankle monitor on house arrest, but it sounds like Tucker will offer her an escape plot.
Perhaps Tucker will be all doom and gloom about Diane’s chances of actually walking free once this goes to trial.
Of course, Diane will probably assume this is Tucker’s way of messing with her head and shut down the idea immediately.
Although Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) would love for her to disappear again, Diane may insist she can’t do that to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).
In the park, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will put Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) through an intense guilt trip since she’s deceiving Kyle about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) fate.
Daniel will lash out as he asks what it’s like for Summer when Kyle holds her in his arms because he thinks she’s grieving.
Summer will look distraught as Daniel brings up Kyle’s mother and how upset he is over Diane’s ordeal, especially since they’ve only just started to rebuild their relationship.
Daniel will point out that Summer could take Kyle’s pain away, but instead she continues to lie to him.
It’ll be tough for Daniel to understand how Summer can even look Kyle in the eyes.
Although Summer may admit she feels terrible about all that, she won’t know what else she’s supposed to do to protect Phyllis from life in prison.
At Crimson Lights, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have a proposal for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to consider, but she’ll assume this is about giving her money and try to shut him down.
That’s when Adam will admit he’s actually offering Sally a job working for him, so maybe he’ll suggest Sally could be his COO at McCall Unlimited since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t want the position.
Y&R fans know Nick wouldn’t approve of this offer, but only Sally can decide what the future holds for her career.
At the jazz lounge, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) will show up and talk about how for his brother, family was everything.
That’s why Malcolm couldn’t miss this party in memory of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will hug Malcolm and take a moment to enjoy this reunion as well as one with Harmony aka Yolanda Hamilton (Chene’ Lawson).
It looks like Devon will eventually get updates on Tucker setting both of these reunions in motion, so he should appreciate the heartfelt gesture.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say this could mean good news for Tucker and Devon’s relationship, so stay tuned to see if this will be a big turning point.
