The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, April 7 – Chance Asks Sharon on Dinner Date – Sally Reveals Baby Crisis to Nate

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, April 7, teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) won’t be feeling well after her meal at Society, so she’ll stop Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and explain her pregnancy-related symptoms.

After Sally admits to battling nausea and a fluttering feeling when she eats, Nate will think this is actually cause for celebration.

Although Nate will urge Sally to check with her doctor just in case, he’ll suspect this is a simple case of the baby starting to move.

At Crimson Lights, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will run into Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and mention that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) asked her to move in with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).

Chance won’t seem thrilled about discussing this on Friday’s Y&R episode, but he’ll suggest it’s fine and urge Abby to just go for it.

After Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) breaks the news of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) death to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), she’ll turn her attention to Chance.

Once Chance updates Sharon on Abby’s desire to move in with Devon, he’ll admit the conversation wasn’t really that hard.

Sharon will give Chance some advice about letting go of any anger, so he’ll offer two options.

After Chance says Sharon can let him pay her for the therapy session or let him take her out to dinner, she’ll pick the dinner.

At Devon’s penthouse, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will show up for a meeting about Chancellor-Winters.

Devon will admit he wants to give their partnership another chance and hit the reset button, so they’ll raise their coffee cups as they celebrate working together again.

There’ll also be some talk about Phyllis’ demise and what a tough time Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) is having.

Devon will suggest it’s a reminder to embrace life and will admit he asked Abby to move in with him.

Although Lily will act like this move-in might be happening a little fast, Devon will think it makes perfect sense for Abby and Dominic to live with him.

Later, Abby will stop by and let Devon know that she talked things over with Chance.

After Abby admits she’d love to make a home with Devon and Dominic, they’ll kiss over the good news.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will remain worried about Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) since she insists on planning Phyllis’ memorial service herself.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will express concern for Summer before the conversation turns to her recent meeting with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

When Victor finds out Victoria rescinded their offer and told Tucker that Newman is no longer interested, he’ll lash out.

Victor will insist that wasn’t Victoria’s decision to make alone and will feel like she should’ve consulted him.

Victoria will remind Victor that she’s the CEO, but he’ll point out that he put her in that chair.

After Victor suspects Victoria called off the deal because of Adam, she’ll insist she’s focused on doing what’s best for Newman.

Victor will warn Victoria not to forget who handed her the company before texting Adam to meet.

At Society, Victor will tell Adam that they’ve hit a roadblock since Victoria is no longer interested in acquiring McCall Unlimited.

Adam will push Victor to override Victoria, but Victor will refuse to disrespect his daughter’s decisions.

Once Adam realizes Victor is siding with Victoria once again, he’ll feel like he was fooling himself for thinking Victor would change.

Victor will act like they just need to rethink their approach to the acquisition, but Adam will suggest going their separate ways.

After Adam vows to figure out his own future, he’ll walk out on his frustrated father.

Victor will bring Nikki up to speed later and will assure her that he won’t force Victoria to buy McCall Unlimited.

Nikki will think Devon can buy McCall Unlimited now, but Victor will admit that Devon isn’t interested anymore and wants to rejoin Chancellor-Winters.

Once Victor suggests everyone is reevaluating things in light of Phylllis’ death, he’ll refuse to waste time being away from his own family – including Adam.

As far as Victor’s concerned, McCall Unlimited will still be on the market.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll confess to Nate that she’s no longer interested in McCall Unlimited.

Off the record, Victoria will admit that Victor was right since Adam was indeed her motivation for ditching the deal.

Victoria just won’t see why she should do all this work to hand Adam an empire.

Nate will admire Victoria’s instincts and ability to pivot before she hints about making him part of the inner circle.

When Sally shows up at Crimson Lights for chamomile tea, she’ll run into Adam and invite him to join her.

Sally will talk about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) being torn up over Phyllis and will assure Adam that she’s not jealous.

Nick loved Phyllis long before he ever met Sally – and since she was the mother of his child, that was a bond that could never break.

Adam will eventually confess that Victor pulled the rug out from under him on his job opportunity.

Sally will give Adam a pep talk about how he doesn’t need Victor to succeed, so Adam will think she always knows what to say.

It’ll remind Adam of why Sally’s going to be an amazing mom to their little boy.

Sally will suggest they might have a little girl instead, so Adam will admit he’d love that and would be thrilled either way.

After Sally mentions her nausea, Adam will seem worried. However, Sally will assure Adam that it’s fine and will be sorry for scaring him.

Adam will act like it’s unavoidable since he’s this kid’s father and will think Sally’s right about that bond being unbreakable.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Adam’s baby bonding will continue, so stay tuned to see if this leads to a romantic reunion.
