The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, December 1 – Summer Derails Chance & Sharon’s Kiss – Tucker & Audra Sizzle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, December 1, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will grill Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about where he’s been and wonder what could’ve been more important than his first day back at Jabot.

Kyle will seem annoyed over the interrogation and act like Billy’s insecurity is showing when it comes to all this distrust.

After Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) appears and questions where Kyle was as well, he’ll once again act irritated over all the questions.

Kyle will speak with Summer privately about his issues with Billy, who doesn’t believe Kyle’s sudden turnaround and acceptance of the COO spot. Summer will wonder if Billy’s really wrong and will seem skeptical about Kyle’s change of heart.

Nevertheless, Kyle will act like he knows he can’t demand the co-CEO spot back just because he wants it.

When Summer asks if Kyle regrets stepping down to run Marchetti with her, Kyle will admit that he does.

Summer will question if Kyle’s regrets might go back even further than that since her regrets perhaps do.

That’ll lead to Summer wondering if they might still be together if they’d stayed in Milan and never brought Marchetti under the Jabot umbrella. Kyle will suggest there’s no point in playing a game of what ifs since what’s done is done.

After Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) arrives for a Marchetti meeting at the Abbott house, Summer will ask if they can take this somewhere else.

At Crimson Lights, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will be pleased over Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) plans at Kirsten Incorporated going well.

Chance will also offer updates on his official decision to walk away from the GCPD and do something else.

Sharon will realize that Chance is seriously considering Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) offer to work at Chancellor-Winters. Once Sharon confirms this is truly what Chance wants, she’ll hint that she doesn’t mind the idea of a safer path for him.

While Sharon and Chance are sharing a kiss, Summer will walk in with Chelsea. Chance will fill Summer in on his decision to leave the GCPD, so he’ll thank her for being a good friend and helping him work through some things.

Chelsea will pick up on the looks Summer is giving Chance, so she’ll quiz her on the patio once they’re alone. Summer will admit she likes Chance, but she’ll point out that he’s seeing Sharon.

When Chelsea asks if that’s serious, Summer will just know Chance is in some sort of relationship and won’t want to interfere with that.

However, Chelsea will still seem like she’s rooting for Summer and Chance. If things could work out whichever way Summer wanted them to, Chelsea will ask what that would look like and smile mischievously.

In Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) suite, he’ll tell Audra Charles (Zulyeka Silver) that Kyle asked way too many questions and seemed to have a plan of his own as expected.

Audra will act like Tucker is underestimating Kyle and will still feel like he could be an ally, but Tucker will want to use him as a tool and throw him out.

That’ll leave Audra complaining since Kyle knows the company and could be useful working alongside her at Jabot if they pull off their plan.

Audra will think Tucker’s vengeful desires are clouding his judgment, but he’ll seem to think Audra’s falling for Kyle and letting that cloud her own.

Audra will make it clear that she’s not caught up in some big love story and that she’s just having fun with Kyle.

Once Tucker suggests they should get back to Audra trusting him, she’ll wonder why he thinks she ever did. Audra will admit she’s never loved or hated Tucker, so he’ll talk about how they’re complicated.

That’ll lead to passion erupting between Audra and Tucker as they launch a make-out session on the sofa.

At Society, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will stand his ground on not forgiving Tucker and not faking it either.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will understand and suggest she’ll have to find another way to handle things.

Once Ashley runs into Tucker, he’ll get a bit testy with her again. Ashley will question why Tucker’s being such an “ass” before hinting that her mission to get Devon to forgive him may be tougher than anticipated.

Tucker will soften a bit and seem grateful over Ashley trying, so the tension will feel sad as Tucker walks away while Ash tears up.

As for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), she’ll tell Devon that they have to fight fire with fire. Devon will seem taken aback as Abby insists she’s not afraid to get down and dirty to protect her family.

Abby will eventually suggest Devon should give her a role on the Chancellor-Winters board to show Tucker that she’s part of all this, but Devon will seem uneasy about the idea.

Back at the Abbott house on Friday’s Y&R episode, Kyle will take a call from Audra and ask if this can wait. Audra will make it clear that it can’t and summon Kyle to her suite immediately.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will face some tricky questions soon, so stay tuned for news on the conflict ahead.
