The Young and the Restless Recap Friday, February 17: Adam Demands Victoria’s Job – Jeremy Derails Jack & Diane’s Outing

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, February 17, teases that Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will be moody and glued to her phone over breakfast at Society. Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) won’t want Lucy to be rude, but Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will want to let it slide since their time together is so limited.

When Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives, she’ll seem excited to see Daniel’s family having breakfast together.

However, Daniel will urge Phyllis to read the room and butt out, so she’ll be sorry if she misunderstood.

After Phyllis learns Heather arranged for Lucy to visit Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) and not her, that’ll leave her agitated.

Daniel will eventually end the conversation by heading back to the hotel with Heather and Lucy.

Once Heather takes Lucy’s phone away so she can have an actual conversation with Daniel, she’ll give them some father-daughter time alone.

Lucy will have her walls up, but Daniel will get her talking about a bracelet she bought because it was blue and that’s his favorite color.

Daniel will apologize after Lucy cries over missing how her dad was before.

Since that bracelet always made her feel closer to Daniel, she’ll urge him to take it and remember he has a daughter the next time things get tough.

At Crimson Lights, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will greet Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and explain that he’s a free man since Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) were the ones behind the necklace theft to frame him.

Although Jeremy will hint about teaming up, Victor will shut down that idea and warn Jeremy not to use anyone in his family or orbit as a pawn.

If Jeremy doesn’t listen to that warning, Victor will vow to come after him.

At Jabot, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will squabble with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) while he’s there to pick up his things.

Kyle won’t be happy that he’s still having to deal with him, but Adam will insist there are no hard feelings about the scheme.

Although Adam will advise against teaming up with Victor, he’ll also admire Kyle’s willingness to go to such extremes to protect his family.

Kyle will assure Adam that’s never going to change.

At the Abbott house, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will have an attitude when she talks to Diane and Jack, but she’ll blame it on how angry she still is with Kyle.

Jack will think they should forgive and move forward, but Summer won’t be ready yet.

When Summer finds Kyle at Jabot, he’ll point out that Adam – the very victim of his plot – has forgiven him.

Kyle will ask why Summer can’t forgive him too, so she’ll point out Adam isn’t married to him.

After Kyle makes another heartfelt apology, Summer will worry about just sweeping this under the rug.

It’ll leave Summer concerned about the possibility of Kyle deceiving her again in the future, but he’ll know he can learn from this and do better.

Unfortunately, Summer won’t see how Kyle can prove that without a similar situation happening – and that’s the last thing she’ll want.

Kyle will once again beg for forgiveness, but Summer will push for patience since she’ll still need time.

Once Kyle and Summer express their love, they’ll share a quick peck. Summer will head out, so that’ll leave Kyle looking pensive on his own.

At Society, Diane will waltz in with Jack and let Phyllis know they’re back together.

After Diane mentions moving in the Abbott house, Phyllis will call Diane out for rubbing her relationship with Jack in her face.

Phyllis will note that it was unforgivable when she did it, but now it’s perfectly fine for Diane to do the same.

Jack will try to ease the tenson before Phyllis takes off – and then he’ll reassure Diane that all is forgiven when it comes to her enthusiasm over their reunion.

After Phyllis sees Jeremy enter the restaurant, she’ll hang around outside and watch what happens.

Jeremy will approach Jack and Diane looking cozy at a table, so he’ll interrupt and freak them out.

Once Jeremy clarifies that he didn’t escape and that he beat the charges, Jack will ask what he wants.

Jeremy will claim to want money and will act like revenge is beneath him now.

Instead, Jeremy will pretend he just wants to congratulate Diane for fooling him.

After Jeremy warns Jack not to underestimate Diane, he’ll hint about sticking around Genoa City for a long while.

Jeremy will find Phyllis outside and once again urge her to get in on the Diane takedown action.

Although Jeremy will think Phyllis lives for the game like he does, she’ll call him deranged and walk away.

Back with Diane, she’ll panic over the news that Jeremy’s back in town. Jack will insist they got rid of Jeremy once and can do it again – for good this time!

At the coffeehouse, Adam will join Victor and admit he left Jabot.

Once Adam wonders about the next phase of Victor’s plan, Victor will talk about wanting to fix what’s broken between them.

After Victor assures Adam that he’ll always be welcome in the family and company, Adam will agree to accept Victor’s offer on one condition.

It turns out Adam will push to take over for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as Newman Enterprises’ CEO.

“Give me Victoria’s job and I’m all yours,” Adam will insist on Friday’s Y&R episode.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say the Newman clan will face more challenges, so stay tuned for updates on all the mayhem.
