The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, February 24 – Jeremy’s Ominous Delivery for Diane – Nate’s Fix-It Goes Wrong

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, February 24, teases that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will bump into Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) at Crimson Lights, where he’ll talk about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) playing dirty and taunt Chance over his divorce.

Chance will make it clear that his personal life is none of Jeremy’s business and warn against stirring up more trouble now that he’s back in town.

At home, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will talk to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) about the major showdown that seems to be brewing between Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

After Nate mentions Christine Williams’ (Lauralee Bell) visit to Devon’s penthouse, he’ll feel the need to intervene.

Nate will worry he might’ve set the conflict in motion and will insist on trying to help, but Elena will think this sounds like a terrible idea.

Meanwhile, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will voice concerns to Devon about the hostile nature of his fight with Lily.

However, Devon will feel like Lily has left him no choice.

Soon after, Elena will spot Abby before she gets on the elevator, so they’ll have an emergency meeting about Nate, Lily and Devon’s problems.

Abby will confess that Devon is suing Chancellor-Winters to regain control of his company, so Elena will reel over that drastic news.

Both Elena and Abby will fear that Nate’s attempt to fix things could make matters worse.

At Society on Friday’s Y&R Episode, Nate will thank Lily for coming, but she won’t be in the mood for small talk.

After Nate mentions Christine’s visit to Devon’s place and all the tension he’s sensing, he’ll hope he can help.

Lily will warn that this is none of Nate’s business and will argue that he’s not her family anymore.

When Devon arrives, Lily will suspect Nate summoned him too as some sort of setup.

Nate will deny that, but Lily will get into a brief argument with Devon and once again urge Nate to stay out of this.

Although Nate will try to talk some sense into his cousin, Devon will lash out as well and will join Lily in stomping off.

At the Abbott mansion, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will seem unsettled over a special delivery that appears on her doorstep.

There’ll be no return address or postage, but Diane will assume it’s from Jeremy and find the smiley faces ominous.

After Diane shows the manila envelope to Jack, he’ll think it seems like a pretty juvenile attempt to scare her if it’s from Jeremy.

Jack will assure Diane that she’s safe before Chance arrives moments later.

Chance will give Diane and Jack updates on his run-in with Jeremy, but he’ll also want them to know the warning he gave Stark goes both ways.

If Jack and Diane have any ideas about handling Jeremy themselves, Chance will insist they shouldn’t even think about it.

Once Jack lets Chance see the manila envelope, it’ll leave the detective fuming since this should’ve been given to the cops right away.

Diane will downplay it as slow psychological torture and will go against Chance’s wishes by opening it.

After Diane pulls out one of Jeremy’s favorite mystery novels, she’ll reveal that it’s called The Invisible Heist and will add that it’s about a jewelry thief.

Chance will order Jack and Diane to notify him if there are any other mysterious packages and will add that they shouldn’t engage with Jeremy in any way.

Diane will worry about Jeremy thinking she’s working with the police again, but Chance will blow his top after reaching his limit.

“I don’t care! I don’t care! Alert me if he crosses the line! Is that clear?” Chance will declare before slamming out.

Once Diane is alone with Jack, she’ll worry it’ll be too late for the cops to do anything by the time Jeremy makes another real threat.

Jack will think they should remove themselves as targets by going on a secret trip – just the two of them.

After Jack says they can turn this ordeal into a romantic getaway, he’ll urge Diane to trust him and let him handle everything.

At The Grand Phoenix, Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will find Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) shortly before their flight back to Portugal.

While Heather is calling for a car to the airport, Daniel will have another positive conversation with Lucy and want to keep the line of communication open.

Lucy will hope that maybe she can be part of the test team for Daniel’s video game, so he’ll think that’s a good idea.

After Lucy hugs Daniel, she’ll vow to call him for a video chat once she gets home.

Daniel will be drinking alone when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) shows up to offer comfort, but he’ll think she’s making everything about her as usual.

Once Daniel goes on a tirade about “Saint Phyllis,” he’ll think it’s sad that his mom can’t see how she hurt him, too.

Jeremy will pop up after witnessing Daniel’s outburst, but Phyllis will reject his pity and once again refuse to join forces against Diane.

Despite Phyllis acting like she’s not interested in his schemes, Jeremy clearly won’t believe her.

Once Daniel finds Lily in the park, they’ll sulk together on a bench. Lily will ask why family is so hard, but Daniel won’t have any answers for that at the moment.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Lily’s relationship will continue to deepen, so stay tuned for some flying sparks soon.
