The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, July 7, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will spot Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) wearing the earrings he gave her when he finds her at the GCAC.
Audra will thank Kyle for the jewelry along with the flowers before hinting that he should see how they brighten up her room.
Kyle will accept Audra’s offer to go upstairs, so she’ll seem impressed over him not caring who sees them together.
After Kyle insists he has nothing to hide, Audra will point out that she wants to keep her own personal life under wraps.
Kyle will follow Audra up a little later to avoid drawing attention and will hit the sheets with her once again.
While they’re canoodling in bed afterward, Audra will mention that she could use a right-hand man like Kyle to help her run Newman Media.
Kyle will hesitate because of his family, but Audra will think maybe he should break away from the Abbotts and become more independent.
Although Kyle will need some time to mull over the offer, Audra will point out that it’d be better than working with his estranged ex-wife!
Kyle will end up initiating another round of lovemaking with Audra, who’ll gladly get on board.
At the Abbott house, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fume over Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) press release for a new health and beauty company.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will feel bad about starting the latest family rift, but Jack will insist Tucker is the one to blame for Ashley’s latest move.
At Society, Ashley will share a bottle of Champagne with Tucker as they celebrate their good news.
Tucker and Ashley will look forward to Jack’s angry outburst since they’ll be certain it’s coming.
When Jack and Diane arrive, they’ll approach Tucker and Ashley at the bar. Jack will be all riled up, so Tucker will step outside with him and face his wrath alone.
If Tucker truly cares about Ashley, Jack will insist that he’ll call off the wedding and ditch this plan for a new company.
Jack will consider it a betrayal to the family business, but Tucker will think the appropriate reaction would be to wish Ashley well and support her.
Although Jack will accuse Tucker of manipulating Ashley, Tucker will suggest Ashley has a mind of her own and will always do whatever she wants anyway.
Back inside, Diane will try to bargain with Ashley and will wonder what it’s going to take to stop this feud.
Ashley will stand her ground since she’ll predict Diane will do something stupid, tank Jabot and get cut loose by Jack. Diane will never be a real Abbott as far as Ashley’s concerned.
In the meantime, Ashley will plan to nurture her company with Tucker and be ready when Jack reluctantly turns to her for help.
In Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) suite, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will fill her in on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) pushing him to team up with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at McCall Unlimited.
Sally will have an angry overreaction, so Nick will realize something more might be going on and will wonder if she read Adam’s letter.
After Sally rants about Adam being irrelevant, she’ll stick to keeping him out of her life and won’t think Nick should have to deal with him either.
Nick will try to get Sally’s mind focused on something else, but she’ll push for space and contemplate Adam’s letter once she’s alone. After Sally gets back in bed, she’ll seem deep in thought.
At Crimson Lights, Adam will grab a coffee from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and hint about concentrating on work, but he’ll be cagey about the details.
Once Adam heads to the jazz lounge, he’ll keep getting distracted by flashbacks as he types on his laptop. Adam will think back to dropping off the letter for Sally before recalling his warning to Audra.
Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Nick will tell Sharon how he upset Sally with updates on Victor’s idea.
Victor is pressuring Nick to join Adam at McCall Unlimited during his forced sabbatical, so Sharon will hear about that and listen to Nick’s concerns.
Nick will see a lot of red flags in this scenario, especially since Adam won’t want him there and may even assume Victor’s planting him as a spy.
Even so, Sharon will sense that Nick wants to pitch in.
When Nick seeks Sharon’s input, she’ll hint about there being both pros and cons.
However, Nick will feel like Sharon wants him to help Adam since he’s grieving and like a powder keg when he’s like this.
Nick will assume Sharon thinks he should take the job for Adam’s sake and to prevent anyone else from becoming collateral damage.
With all that in mind, Sharon will ask Nick what he’s going to do.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will have to make some tough decisions about the future, so stay tuned.
