The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, March 3 - Sally’s Baby SOS to Nick, Not Adam - Phyllis Wishes Diane were Dead

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, March 3, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will leave angry voicemails for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) as she self-medicates with alcohol at The Grand Phoenix.

When Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) arrive on Friday’s Y&R episode, they’ll realize Phyllis is drunk and spinning out.

Phyllis will turn down food and won’t want any tough love either.

After Phyllis rants about her children and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), she’ll rile Michael up.

Phyllis will ask how he can be Diane’s friend and will call her a virus, but Michael will shout that Diane isn’t the root of all her problems.

Nevertheless, Phyllis will insist that she is and will wish Diane had really died. “I want that bitch DEAD now!”

Phyllis will declare despite Michael’s warning about death threats in a hotel lobby.

Once Phyllis runs off, Lauren will push Michael to go after her. Later, Michael and Lauren will reflect on how scared they are for Phyllis, but Michael will point out that she’s a survivor.

In Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) hotel suite, Phyllis will end up sprawled out on his sofa. When Phyllis looks over at Jeremy, he’ll insist she’s lucky to be alive.

After canoodling with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at the cabin, Diane will get spooked over a tree branch that falls outside.

It’ll leave Diane frustrated over the constant fear, so she’ll be determined to be the one who gets Jeremy out of their lives.

The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, March 3 - Sally’s Baby SOS to Nick, Not Adam - Phyllis Wishes Diane were Dead

Although Diane will think maybe they didn’t frame Jeremy for a big enough crime, Jack will want to take the opposite approach this time and ignore his existence.

Diane will be skeptical about that working, but Jack will argue that Jeremy can only intimidate them if they let him.

Once Jack talks about finding love with Diane, he won’t want to let Jeremy rob them of their happiness. Jack will eventually confess he has another idea and will ask Diane to marry him.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will talk to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) being home with their new baby.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will eavesdrop as Mariah talks about how much parenthood has already changed her.

After Adam congratulates Mariah on the baby news, she’ll take a call from Tessa.

Adam will start to leave, but Sharon will point out that he didn’t even order the coffee he came for.

Since Sharon will sense that Adam has something on his mind, he’ll admit Sally is pregnant and that the baby is his.

Sharon won’t have much of a reaction, so Adam will realize she already knew and will wonder how she could keep this a secret from him.

However, Sharon will point out it wasn’t her secret to tell – and she didn’t know who the father was until just now anyway.

Adam will assume Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) spilled the beans, but Sharon will surprise him by pointing out that Sally came to her for guidance.

Once Adam leaves, Mariah will rejoin Sharon and acknowledge the baby doesn’t have a name yet.

After Mariah hopes to find one that fits, Sharon will suggest Mariah will know it when she hears it.

In Sally’s hotel suite, she’ll call Nick and confess she’s concerned for the baby since her splitting headache won’t go away.

Nick will vow to come right over, but he’ll urge Sally to call her doctor in the meantime.

After Nick makes it to Sally’s room, she’ll note that her doctor said pregnant women can be prone to headaches – though it could also be related to Sally’s blood pressure issue.

Sally will mention that she’s supposed to call back if she has more symptoms and will feel silly for worrying Nick over what was probably nothing.

Nick will insist it’s his job to worry about Sally and will tell her to get used to it.

When Nick learns Sally only had cashews for dinner, he’ll fret over her not taking care of herself.

Sally will explain that she lost her appetite due to the headache, but she’ll also admit to being a little lax on her prenatal vitamins.

Nick will feel like he needs to stay on top of Sally about that, but he’ll think her concern over the potential crisis shows she’s already protective mom.

After Adam knocks at the door, Sally will open up.

Adam will wonder if everything’s OK with Sally and the baby, so she’ll confess to having a pretty bad headache that’s gone now.

Nick will pipe up that it’s all good before Sally says Adam shouldn’t feel the need to check in.

Sally will insist that there’s nothing she needs until the baby’s born – and Nick will add that he’ll take care of everything until then.

Adam will get that Nick and Sally are a couple, but he’ll note that he’d really like to be part of some doctor’s appointments and ultrasounds.

Sally will agree to think about it before Adam takes off.

Once Adam makes it back to the coffeehouse, he’ll tell Sharon that he’s trying to be the good guy in this situation with Sally and the baby.

Adam will want to handle things with class, poise and grace, but he won’t be sure he can.

Back with Nick, he’ll acknowledge that Adam’s request to be involved was justifed.

Nick will act like he understands the tough spot Adam is in, but he’ll also worry this could lead to trouble.

No matter what Adam’s motives are, Nick will think getting more involved will make it harder for Adam to let go of Sally.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s efforts to shut Adam out could lead to another brother battle, so stay tuned for updates on the conflict ahead!
