The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 10, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will find Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) at Crimson Lights and suggest they don’t have to cancel their dinner plans just because Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) bailed.
Danny will admit he already made other arrangements just before Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) appears.
Phyllis will realize Danny’s taking Christine to dinner instead, so she’ll assure them that she doesn’t expect an invitation.
Over a meal at Society, Christine will gossip about Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) relationship a bit since Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) isn’t a big fan of it.
After Christine mentions Sharon’s track record, she’ll jokingly act like her own relationship with Danny used to be so simple.
Christine will also confess to missing Danny’s famous pasta sauce all these years later, so he’ll vow to make it for her sometime and hold hands with her.
At the hospital, Chance will keep smiling at Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) before asking what she’s doing there. Sharon, Nina and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will all join Chance and Summer moments later.
Chance will tell the story of what happened to him, so he’ll offer updates on how a perp returned to a robbery scene for evidence he left behind.
That led to the guy firing some shots before he was subdued – and one of them went into Chance’s chest.
Nina will think it was sweet of Summer to come show her support, so Summer will talk about how Chance was there for her throughout her ordeal with Phyllis.
Sharon will pipe up about Summer losing the love of her life, but Summer will insist she’s doing much better now – in part thanks to Chance.
After Elena urges them all to let Chance rest, Sharon will say her goodbyes. Summer will take off as well, but Sharon will catch her breaking down in tears alone and ask if she’s OK.
Summer will suggest that hearing what went down hit her hard and will hope it was OK with Sharon that she came.
Sharon will feel like it was better for Chance to wake up to a familiar face than a random hospital employee, but there’ll still be a tense vibe as she reassures Summer.
Back in Chance’s room on Friday’s Y&R episode, he’ll share some close moments with his mom as Nina voices her displeasure over his dangerous job.
Chance will admit that maybe he’s getting too old for this and will hate that he put his sweet mother through another crisis.
Nina will hope that Chance is going to consider another career path, but he’ll feel like he needs time to mull that over – especially since he’ll be on so many meds and won’t be thinking all that clearly.
After hearing the news about Chance from Christine and Danny, Phyllis will meet up with Summer and learn she visited Chance.
As Phyllis tries to ask questions, she’ll see that Summer seems upset.
Summer will get all defensive and push Phyllis not to meddle, so Phyllis will wonder what’s really going on.
Once Summer admits she indeed has feelings for Chance, she’ll insist that doesn’t mean she’s going to do anything about them. Summer won’t want Phyllis to meddle either, so she’ll push her mom to stay out of this.
Phyllis will act like she’s always going to be involved in Summer’s life and will want her to find love again.
However, Phyllis will argue that the old her would’ve told Summer to go for it, but the new her will be proud of her restraint and will intend to show some as well.
As for Chance and Sharon’s romance, Phyllis will insist nothing’s going to happen with that since it always comes back to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for Sharon!
Later, Summer will bump into Sharon again and zone out for a moment.
In a brief fantasy, Summer will imagine telling Sharon that she does have feelings for Chance, that the heart wants what it wants and that she’s not backing down.
Once Summer snaps out of it, she’ll claim she zoned out because she was tired and head for the door. Sharon will seem rather unsettled by the odd interaction once she’s alone.
At GCAC, Daniel will notice that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) seems quiet over dinner and will hope Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) return to Genoa City isn’t going to be a problem.
Lily will act like she’s just bummed that she missed the consultation with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and will ultimately head to Daniel’s place with him. That way, Daniel can share all Sally’s ideas.
Daniel won’t have the electricity turned on yet, so he’ll light some candles as he goes over everything with Lily.
That’ll lead to some flying sparks in the dark before Lily takes Daniel back to her own penthouse for some passion on the sofa.
Lily will ask if she’s convinced Daniel that she doesn’t care about Heather moving back to GC.
Daniel will suggest he’s almost convinced, so Lily will joke about trying again as they get passionate once more.
Finally, Phyllis will be feeling rather wistful.
After flashing back to some sweet scenes with Danny when they were younger, Phyllis will spy a close moment between Danny and Christine through the window at Society.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis’ feelings for Danny could bring trouble if she lets them lead her down a sneaky path, so stay tuned!
