The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 3, reveals that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will join Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) at Society’s bar, where he’ll admit that he’s started annulment proceedings.
Ashley will hope that maybe they can at least find their way to being civil or even being friends, but Tucker won’t have much hope for that.
Since Tucker won’t trust Ashley’s motives, he’ll assume she really just wants to know if he’s going after Jabot.
Ashley won’t think Tucker can blame her for wondering and will grow frustrated when he refuses to confirm whether he wants payback or plans to let it all go.
When Ashley asks if Tucker ever really loved her, he won’t answer that either. Ashley will feel like that’s an answer in itself, but Tucker will break down in tears once he’s outside alone.
At the Abbott house, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will call Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) out on going after his job and will rant about the unfair position this puts Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in.
After Billy lectures Kyle about behaving like a spoiled brat, Kyle will act like he’s had an epiphany and will tell Billy that he’s right.
Since Kyle will claim he doesn’t want to break Jack’s heart or behave selfishly, he’ll announce that he’s moving in another direction.
When Jack comes home, he’ll get updates on Kyle’s decision and learn that Kyle plans to pursue opportunities outside of Jabot. Kyle will give Billy the credit for helping him see the light.
After Kyle exits, Ashley will return to find Jack and Billy discussing Kyle’s suspicious change of heart. Billy won’t think Kyle’s being sincere, so he’ll ultimately suspect that Tucker got his claws into Kyle and turned him against his family.
In Tucker’s suite, Kyle will show up after being summoned. Tucker will insist it’s time for Kyle to step up and prove himself, so Kyle will assure Tucker that he’s ready and will vow not to let him down.
Nevertheless, Kyle will seem a bit pensive over his imminent family betrayal.
At Newman Enterprises, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) if they can meet up for drinks later and discuss a few things.
Victor will get on board with that idea and bring up how they need to discuss plans for Kirsten Incorporated, but Adam will try to remind his dad that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) took it back.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will overhear Victor’s slipup from the doorway, so he’ll speak to Adam privately by the elevator.
Adam will make it clear that although his siblings won’t work with him, he intends to move forward with his own specialist.
Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Nate will speak with Victor about how a leave of absence would prevent Adam exploiting the situation and removing him from power permanently.
Victor will act reluctant to show weakness by stepping away and won’t want to be locked up, but Nate will insist this would just be voluntary testing and treatment for a few days or weeks at most.
The cover story could be an extended business trip since Victor has taken plenty of those in the past.
Although it’s Victor’s call, Nate will point out that he’s a man of action and suggest this is a way to tackle his condition head-on.
At the GCAC, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will run into Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who’ll ask about Victor since Adam mentioned his issues.
Nick will seem irritated over Adam confiding in Sally, who’ll take Nick back to her room so they discuss the matter in private.
Although Nick will feel like Adam was just trying to get sympathy from Sally, she’ll think Adam’s genuinely concerned.
Sally will mention that she encouraged Adam to band together with his siblings, but Nick won’t trust his brother enough to do that.
Since Adam and Sally are on good enough terms to discuss something like this, Nick will assume she’s taking his advice and trying to figure out her true feelings.
Sally will assure Nick that she’ll keep Victor’s mental problems under wraps and will head downstairs with him.
That’ll bring an awkward encounter with Adam, but Sally will take off for a meeting while Adam speaks with Nick alone.
Adam will give Nick the news about Victor’s latest Kirsten Incorporated slipup and will argue that they have to do something.
That’ll lead to Adam’s confession about arranging for a specialist to casually join his conversation over drinks with Victor.
Nick will complain about Adam planning an ambush and will suspect Victor’s going to see right through the strategy.
Adam will admit he hopes so since that would mean Victor is still sharp enough to pick up on that and perhaps just needs rest or vitamins.
After Adam pushes Nick to join the meeting and give his plan a chance, Nick will decide that he’s in.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some surprises are still to come as Victor continues to put Nate and his children to the test!
