The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, February 27, teases that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) show up at Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) suite and pump him for information on who bought up his debt.
Tucker will play dumb and act like Audra has lost her touch at subterfuge, so there’ll be some tension before she ultimately leaves.
At Society, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will give Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) updates on Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) lawsuit drama before her mom quizzes her about the nature of their relationship.
However, Abby will insist she’s not rushing into anything with Devon before asking what’s going on between Ashley and Tucker.
Ashley will hint about Tucker being a complicated guy and will suggest at least part of his plan seemed genuine.
Although Ashley will believe Tucker wanted to unite powerhouses and bring businesses together with their families, she’ll admit she’d not just taking him at his word.
Even so, Ashley will suggest she’s choosing to remain optimistic.
In the park, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will lean in like they’re going to kiss, but they’ll stop themselves and laugh it off.
Daniel and Lily will act like they’re both just stuck in miserable heartache, so they’ll vow not to let that happen again.
On the Crimson Lights patio, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will talk to Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) over the phone about moving forward with the lawsuit.
When Devon spots Daniel and Lily at the counter, he’ll leave without being seen.
After Devon heads to Society, Abby will hint about Tucker not having the same greedy motivation as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) when it came to his takeover attempt.
Abby will explain her earlier conversation with Ashley and hope it was OK for her to spill the lawsuit news to her mom.
Devon will reassure Abby and act like venting is a thing that happens when you’re “with someone.”
That’ll bring awkwardness as Devon tries to cover and claim he just meant when you’re close to somebody.
Abby will assure Devon that they don’t need a name for what they are to each other right now.
The goal will just be getting Devon through his crisis and then they can figure the rest out.
In Victoria’s office on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will talk about big risks getting big rewards and will think they need to give up on the idea of leveraging Tucker to sell low.
Victoria will mention Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan to lure Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back into the fold, but she’ll have her own plans to dismantle McCall Unlimited and fill in the gaps at Newman Enterprises.
Victoria will add that she has this fantasy of McCall’s entertainment division becoming part of Newman Media.
Nate will like the sound of that, so he’ll be on the same page with Victoria about the reward being worth the risk.
Victoria will plan to offer Tucker a highball number that he can’t refuse.
That way, Tucker can buy his debt back and not be beholden to anyone – unless whoever bought the debt isn’t inclined to sell.
When Victoria complains about not knowing who’s behind this, Nate will tease her about her lack of patience.
Victoria will explain that information is power – and power is control.
After Victoria admits control is every bit as important to her as money if not more so, she’ll move in close and kiss Nate.
Victoria will start to remove Nate’s tie before Audra interrupts with a knock at the door.
That’ll lead to Victoria separating from Nate quickly and settling back in at her desk.
Nate will straighten his tie and wipe his mouth before Audra walks in looking rather suspicious.
Audra will suggest Victoria and Nate must’ve been having quite the exciting conversation.
When Nate and Victoria hope for info, Audra will admit she just might have some.
When Ashley shows up at Tucker’s suite, she’ll wonder if he’s truly ready to walk away from McCall Unlimited.
Tucker will want to start anew for the right price, but Ashley will hint that maybe he could do it for the right reason.
Since Tucker claimed he came back to Genoa City to reunite with Devon, Ashley will think he should prove it.
“Don’t sell to Newman; sell to your son,” Ashley will insist.
Back at the coffeehouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will interrupt Daniel and Lily’s discussion, so Daniel will let her share her suicide attempt story and why she wants to be part of the gaming platform to help others.
Chelsea will pitch an idea for a new part of the game involving a character who gains the tools she needs to open a door.
Daniel will have an enthusiastic response and think this could really expand the scope of the game, but Lily will look a bit uneasy.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will throw herself into this new project, so stay tuned to Y&R.
