The Young and the Restless Recap: Monday, July 3 – Kyle Sends Audra Flowers & Diamonds

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, July 3, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a strategy session with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and trust him with some high-profile solo meetings now that he’s her interim COO.

At Crimson Lights, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will chat with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and hint about the collateral damage that the Newmans tend to cause.

Audra will talk about getting burned in her past, but she’ll feel like she’s learned you have to focus on what you want and let the universe reward you.

Kyle will guess Audra means that if you play nice, you move to the front of the line. Audra will smile as she points out that she didn’t say anything about playing nice!

In the park, Kyle will hint about hooking up again later, so Audra will encourage him to put his number in her phone.

Audra will suggest she’ll call if she has time, but she’ll grin and contend that he shouldn’t get his hopes up.

Kyle will smirk back and feel confident that Audra will indeed call.

When Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) bumps into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in the park afterward, she’ll offer her condolences over the baby.

Adam will act like it’s disingenuous, but Nikki will speak as someone who’s lost and will truly have sympathy for him.

Adam will point out that it’s his fault his baby is gone and will point out that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) blames him for it.

After Nikki defends Adam since he made an impossible choice, she’ll warn him not to let his anger consume him.

Adam will act like that’s his comfort zone these days, but Nikki will push him to focus on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and the people who care about him.

At Society, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will track Adam down after getting some concerned updates from Nikki.

Adam will scoff over Victor suddenly caring about Sally, but Victor will argue that he wouldn’t wish this outcome on his worst enemy.

Victor will encourage Adam to throw himself into his work at McCall Unlimited, but he’ll worry over his son’s plot to get Newman Media back.

From Victor’s perspective, it’ll seem like Adam’s trying to recapture the wonderful days he had working with Sally.

Adam will insist this is strictly about business, but Victor will warn him not to mess with something that’s part of the Newman portfolio.

Although Victor will want Adam to leave his emotions out of this, Adam will plan to run the company however he sees fit.

Victor will remind Adam that he offered to be a sounding board and help Adam with his vast experience.

After Victor says that can change in an instant, Adam will ask if Victor’s threatening him now.

Victor will suggest Adam can take that any way he likes, but he’ll warn that he’s not Adam’s enemy.

Since Victor will feel he’s Adam’s biggest supporter instead, he won’t think Adam should jeopardize that.

Back with Nikki, she’ll be alarmed over a text alert she gets on her phone. It’ll lead to Nikki confronting Victoria about dissolving Nick’s support team.

Nikki will suspect Victoria is trying to make Nick’s leave of absence permanent, but Victoria will act like Nick’s team doesn’t share her vision and that Nate doesn’t need his hand held.

However, Nikki will feel like Victoria is retaliating because Nick warned her about Nate – just like he warned her about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

When Nikki says Victoria fears Nick is right deep down, Victoria will blow up at her for always throwing Ashland in her face.

From where Victoria’s standing, Nate will be the only one giving her any real support.

Later, Victoria and Nate will be impressed over all the prep work Audra has done for her role as acting CEO of Newman Media.

With Audra doing so well, Victoria will tell Nate that they’re free to focus on making sure McCall Unlimited becomes misery for Adam.

Once Nikki compares notes with her worried husband, Victor will fear that Victoria and Adam are gearing up for a head-on collision.

Outside Society, Kyle will look at a picture of himself with Summer on his phone, but he’ll put it away and call someone about ordering flowers.

Kyle will specify that they’re NOT being delivered to Marchetti and will send them to Audra at the athletic club instead.

After Kyle says he wants something wild, gorgeous and unique, he’ll decide to put “from one overachiever to another” on the card.

Kyle will also send Audra some diamond earrings and have them charged to his account.

At Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) cottage, she’ll get Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) help burning the contents from Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) box.

It’ll help Sharon feel less haunted by Cameron and empowered to make a difference.

Sharon will decide maybe she can do something good with Kirsten Incorporated, the tech company that Cameron left her.

Whether Sharon turns a profit or sells it and donates everything to charity, she’ll see the potential to make a positive change.

Sharon will think that if she takes control of Cameron’s company, she can transform her fear and anger.

Since Sharon has already been thinking about her purpose these last few years, she’ll be ready for a new direction and future.

Sharon will tell Nick that she plans to surprise even herself and flourish instead of just coming back from all the drama.

“Everything changes now,” Sharon will declare on Monday’s Y&R episode.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will definitely make some major shifts in her life, so stay tuned for all the exciting news that’ll bring.
