The Young and the Restless Recap: Monday, March 13 – Phyllis Lies Jeremy Went to Paris – Nate Denies Affair to Elena

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 13, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will stop by Newman Media looking for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will mention that he’s off having couple’s time with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

After Audra talks about Nate being a keeper, she’ll note that Elena is a lucky woman.

Victoria will eventually turn Audra’s attention to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), so they’ll do some strategizing about the McCall Unlimited acquisition.

Once Victoria suggests someone who can be swayed is a weak link, she’ll contend that the one doing the swaying isn’t the issue.

Audra will seek confirmation that they’re talking about swaying Tucker from his deal with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), so Victoria will act like she was clear on that.

When Nate meets up with Elena for their night out, he’ll gush about his meeting with Victoria earlier and will think their synergy is unreal.

Elena will mention her conversation with Audra and worry that Nate’s relationship with Victoria goes beyond a normal one for work.

On Monday’s Y&R episode, Nate will point out that Victoria inspires him and will seem offended since he thought Elena understood that.

Elena will ultimately decide she’s tired and perhaps looking for trouble where there isn’t any.

When Elena says it’s not like Nate is having an affair, he’ll reply with an “exactly” and promise there’s nothing to worry about since he loves only her.

Nate will also agree to take Elena home since she’ll be exhausted from her shift at the hospital.

However, Elena will end up stopping at Crimson Lights for tea while Nate goes back to the office.

Once Victoria sees her, she’ll offer to buy Elena’s drink as an apology for all the nights she’s kept Nate late at work.

Victoria will rattle off a bunch of compliments about Nate and will think maybe none of Newman Media’s other CEOs worked out because this was meant to be.

If Nate sticks with her, Victoria will hint about having bigger and better things planned for him.

At Newman Media, Nate will blast Audra for filling Elena’s head with ideas about his relationship with Victoria being more than professional.

Audra will play innocent and act like she was just trying to convey the positive office vibe.

Later, Elena will find Nate and apologize for earlier, but she’ll worry about him sinking deeper and deeper into his work.

Nate will assure Elena that the man she loves is back and that he’s focused on their future together.

When Victoria calls and asks Nate if they can discuss the Tucker deal over drinks, he’ll delay the conversation until morning so he can go home with Elena.

Although Elena will seem pleased by the display of loyalty, Victoria will look disappointed.

On the coffeehouse patio, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about her run-in with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and how her mom was acting suspicious.

At the cabin, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be distracted as she tries to read on the sofa with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

After Diane brings up the caller who didn’t say anything, she’ll worry Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) found them and is on his way there.

However, Diane will also worry about leaving their family in Jeremy’s crosshairs back home.

Jack will downplay the risks, but Diane will fret over the people they love being vulnerable.

In Jeremy’s suite, Phyllis will point out that they need to lure Jack and Diane back to Genoa City, but she’ll warn that Kyle, Summer and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) can’t get hurt.

Phyllis will suggest they need to make Diane and Jack believe that the danger has disappeared, so she’ll head to Crimson Lights for the next phase of the plan.

On the patio, Phyllis will rush in and claim Jeremy is on his way to Paris to find Jack and Diane.

Kyle will ask how Phyllis knows this, so she’ll admit Jeremy has been hounding her for weeks and pushed her to help him get revenge.

After Phyllis insists she turned Jeremy down, she’ll contend that this could be dangerous for Diane and Jack.

Phyllis will return Kyle’s lost phone, so he’ll leave to call Jack.

Once Kyle gets in touch with his father, Jack will give Diane updates on the flight that Jeremy chartered to Paris – one that left earlier today.

Kyle will have confirmation on that through a friend at the airport.

Jack and Diane will consider the possibility that this is a trick, but they’ll decide they can proceed with caution and go home – especially since they were already thinking about going back anyway.

Back with Summer, she’ll seem skeptical as she hopes what Phyllis said about Jeremy was true.

Phyllis will insist it was and will assure Summer that she doesn’t want to see Diane and Jack hurt.

Summer will want to believe in Phyllis and will admit to missing her mom.

That said, Summer will also acknowledge that if missing Phyllis is the price of not being disappointed again, then so be it.

Once Phyllis leaves, Kyle will let Summer know that he reached Jack and confirmed Jeremy’s Paris flight.

Summer will find it suspicious since Phyllis had Kyle’s phone, so she’ll worry her mom really is working with Jeremy to set a trap.

Kyle will assure Summer that they won’t let their guard down before they head back to the Abbott house.

After Jack and Diane return home, they’ll discuss their engagement and Diane’s fears about Kyle’s reaction.

Jack will think Kyle will come around sooner than Diane thinks.

Diane and Jack will also decide to share the engagement news with their immediate family now while their friends and extended family can wait until later.

Since Diane won’t be able to show off her ring yet, she’ll conceal it before Kyle and Summer walk in.

Kyle will worry that Jeremy’s absence will be temporary and will assume he’ll be back after he realizes he’s on a wild goose chase.

Once Diane drops an engagement hint, Jack will confirm that she accepted his marriage proposal. That’ll leave both Kyle and Summer looking absolutely floored.

After Phyllis reconvenes with Jeremy, she’ll wonder what the next step is.

Jeremy will want Phyllis to get back into the Abbotts’ good graces since they need access to Diane’s personal property.

Phyllis will refuse initially, but she’ll cave in after Jeremy threatens to have an associate get in Jack’s house instead.

Since Phyllis won’t want some random burglar in there, she’ll agree to handle this.

Jeremy will point out that they need one or two small items – things that are specific and personal to Diane.

Stark will insist there should be no mistaking that Diane is the owner of these items.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Jeremy’s risky game will continue, so stay tuned for more Y&R drama!
