The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, April 25 – Stark’s Body Found – Sally Fears Daughter Will Inherit Worst Traits

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 25, teases that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will call Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to let him know the sale of McCall Unlimited has been finalized.

After Victor says he’ll make sure the money’s transferred and congratulates Tucker, he’ll summon Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for an ASAP meeting via text.

In Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) suite, she’ll gush over the sonogram with Nick before Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pipes up about how he can’t believe they’re having a baby girl.

Sally will get swept up in the moment with Adam briefly, so Nick will seemingly feel a bit left out.

After Nick talks about this baby getting spoiled by every Newman family member, Sally will notice he got a text and urge him to handle whatever work he has to take care of.

Adam will choose to stick around a little longer on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, so Nick will leave him alone with Sally.

That’ll give Adam a chance to admit he was concerned about it being a boy since he might’ve been his mini-me. Adam will feel less concerned about his genes and influencing messing up a girl.

Sally will remind Adam that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) turned out fine, so she’ll convince him to put his insecurities aside and be strong for their daughter.

However, Sally will confess she’s worried about her little girl inheriting her own worst traits.

Adam will rattle off a list of Sally’s positive qualities and promise she’s not alone in taking on this responsibility.

After the conversation shifts to Connor, Sally will think they should give him updates on his baby sister soon.

Adam will want to talk to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) first to be sure they’re doing this the right way.

Sally will also mention talking to Nick about Christian – though she’ll quickly suggest maybe Adam should be included, too.

Adam will acknowledge that they’re dealing with the awkward negotiations of a modern family, but he’ll insist this little girl will be loved no matter how complicated things get.

At Society, Victor will tell Nick about the purchase of McCall Unlimited and will want him to join Adam at the company.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to back her up, so Victor will think Adam needs Nick to back him up, too.

Nick will shut down the idea and find it patronizing since Victor knows they’d be at each other’s throats constantly.

Victor will irritate Nick by bringing up his Sally complaints, but Nick will mention Victor’s new granddaughter is coming.

After Nick realizes he’s shared news that wasn’t his to share, he’ll explain that he just came from the ultrasound appointment with Sally and Adam.

Victor will sarcastically suggest that sounds cozy, but Nick will want him to just back off and wait to fall in love with this little girl.

At Crimson Lights, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will tell Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) that they’re still searching for Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).

Christine will wonder if Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has had better luck since he’s probably carrying out his own search efforts.

On the patio, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will show up at Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) request, but she won’t want to argue about Michael or the case she wishes he hadn’t taken.

Instead, Lauren will open up about how much she misses Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and will ask Jack what they’re going to do without her.

Afterward, Lauren will share a moment alone with Christine and wonder how Michael could defend a monster like Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

As for Jack, he’ll corner Chance in the main area of the coffeehouse. Jack will grill Chance about what’s being done to find Stark since he set Diane up.

Things will start to get heated, so Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will urge Jack and Chance to tone this down.

Christine will reappear and urge Jack to step away, so he’ll take off moments later.

Although Chance previously wanted to leave the GCPD, he’ll tell Sharon this case changed that.

Since Chance will be tired of people thinking they’ve above the law and trying to manipulate him, he’ll vow to do whatever it takes to get the truth.

Once Jack returns for his forgotten tablet, he’ll overhear Chance on a shocking phone call.

Jack will ask if that had anything to do with Diane’s case, so Chance will admit he’d like to know that as well.

After Chance explains that Stark was found, he’ll add that he’s dead and leave Jack looking baffled.

Once Tucker summons Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to his suite, he’ll hint about heading to Sri Lanka or maybe Peru.

Tucker will announce that he officially sold McCall Unlimited and will show Ashley that the debt has been repaid with interest.

Ashley will think Tucker’s being a coward by slinking off like this, but Tucker will feel like Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) is the only person in town who can stand him.

Although Tucker won’t think there’s a place left for him in Genoa City, Ashley will push him to move in with her.

Tucker will be skeptical of Ashley’s motives and won’t want to get jerked around anymore, but Ashley will start to cry and admit she genuinely doesn’t want him to go.

Now that the debt has been paid, Ashley will think the playing field has been leveled.

Tucker will push Ashley to admit she wants him as much as he wants her, but he won’t think she can do that.

When Tucker goes back to packing, Ashley will step toward him and plant a steamy kiss, so it looks like that’ll be her way of conveying her desires!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley and Tucker still have a shot at making things work between them, so stay tuned.
