The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, February 28 – Drunk Adam’s Sally Ambush Takes Stunning Turn

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 28, reveals Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will warn that she’s not suggesting Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) should sell McCall Unlimited to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). As the owner of Tucker’s debt, Ashley will be demanding it!

However, Ashley will insist Tucker is going to thank her someday since it’s the right thing to do. In the end, Tucker will decide Ashley’s heart is in the right place and will thank her for forcing his hand.

After Tucker worries Ashley’s maneuver will be for nothing since Devon doesn’t want to listen, Ashley will contend that failure isn’t an option.

At the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will sense that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is preoccupied over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so Victor will talk about his plan to let Adam run McCall Unlimited hitting a snag.

Once Victor updates Nikki on someone else buying up Tucker’s debt, they’ll mull over some possibilities.

Nikki will suspect Ashley could be the culprit, but Victor will be skeptical.

At Devon’s penthouse, he’ll get a call from Tucker and hang up on him soon after. Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will encourage Devon to at least hear Tucker out, so Devon will text him after lovemaking.

Back with Ashley, she’ll push Tucker to make this deal happen.

Tucker will wonder what this could mean for their relationship, so Ashley will admit it’d go a long way toward making her believe he’s truly changed.

Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Tucker will read Devon’s text offering to give him 30 minutes over coffee tomorrow morning.

Ashley will warn Tucker not to screw this up since it could be his last chance with Devon, so Tucker will agree that she’s right.

While Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) canoodle in bed, Adam will bang on the door after having too much to drink.

Sally will answer in her robe through a crack in the door, so Adam will assume Nick is there.

Although Sally will realize Adam has overindulged, he’ll insist this isn’t like the last time when he proposed to her.

Adam will argue that his drinks just gave him the courage to say a few things, so he’ll want to talk to Sally privately in the lobby.

Nick will walk over and insist it’s up to Sally, but he clearly won’t be thrilled about the idea.

Nevertheless, Sally will ultimately get dressed and go downstairs since she’ll feel like she owes Adam this conversation.

When Sally finds Adam in the lounge area, she’ll worry that he’s got another drink. Adam will insist it’s just a soda with lime since he’ll want a clear head for this next part.

After Adam talks about how Sally’s going to be an incredible mom, he’ll insist he heard her about this baby not changing things between them.

Adam will get that pressuring Sally to get back together is only going to push her away.

That would make Adam miss out on his chance to be the best father he can be.

Adam will mention that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) advice helped him accept reality, so Sally will marvel at how mature Adam’s being.

As Adam laughs with Sally about acting like an actual adult, Nick will come down and glare at them.

Once Sally notices Nick nearby, she’ll get news about Christian Newman’s (Alex Wilson) nightmare and kiss Nick before he heads home.

Back with Adam, he’ll assure Sally that his attitude adjustment will stick and that nothing will change in the cold light of day.

Even so, Adam will admit that with a baby on the way, it’ll be hard not to think about what might’ve been at times.

After Adam insists that’s his problem and not Sally’s, he’ll add that he wants her happiness now more than ever.

Once Sally returns to her suite, she’ll get a video call from Nick and mention that she ended her conversation with Adam on good terms.

Nick will invite Sally to continue their evening at his place, but she’ll opt to stay in her own room due to exhaustion.

When Sally asks why Nick chose to video chat instead of just calling her on the phone, Nick will admit he wanted to see her smile one more time.

At the ranch again, Adam will show up for answers about Victor’s counteroffer.

Although Victor won’t want to divulge the details yet, Adam will insist all the secrecy isn’t helping them build trust.

Victor will eventually confess that he’s trying to acquire McCall Unlimited and that it’ll remain a separate entity for Adam to run.

Unfortunately, Victor will also have to admit there’s a roadblock – though he’ll assure Adam that he intends to make his next move once he finds out who’s causing it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor has more shockers ahead of him, so stay tuned to Y&R!
