The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, June 27 – Phyllis Strikes Deal – Adam Slams Nick – Summer & Chance Team Up

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 27, reveals that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will admit to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) that her marriage may be ending due to the lies she told Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

After Summer confesses that she could’ve come forward sooner, she’ll add that she was the one Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) first reached out to – not Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).

That news won’t surprise Chance, who’ll point out that Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) wants to bring charges against Summer at the same time they indict Phyllis.

Summer will assume that her mom will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and will find out there have been no Phyllis sightings – though Chance will admit Summer would be the last to know if there were.

Chance will eventually point out that until Phyllis is found, Summer’s life will be in limbo.

Finding Phyllis will give Summer a chance to focus on everything else, so she’ll agree with Chance and decide they should help each other.

At Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) place, she’ll get a visit from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Although Adam will check on Sharon after her ordeal, it’ll seem more like he’s looking for guidance.

Sharon will bring up Adam’s decision to save Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) over the baby and wonder if it’s because he hoped he might still have a chance with Sally down the line.

Adam will insist he wanted both Sally and the baby to survive, but he ultimately chose Sally because she could go on to have more children – even if they weren’t his own.

Although Sharon will think Adam has to find a way to forgive himself, he’ll ask how he’s supposed to do that.

Sharon will keep trying to offer support, but Adam will seem upset and leave abruptly.

In Sally’s suite, she’ll quickly grow tired of Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) hovering.

Nick will offer to give Sally space, but he’ll also think it’d be beneficial for her to unload all her anger on him.

Sally will resist at first, but she’ll eventually go on a tirade that includes Nick not being there when she needed him.

After Sally unleashes her fury, she’ll cry in Nick’s arms and feel a bit better after letting her emotions out.

Nick will end up cuddling with Sally and will promise not to leave until she falls asleep.

When Sally wakes up alone later, she’ll pull out Ava Spectra’s keepsake box and try to get some comfort from it.

Downstairs at the athletic club bar, Nick will talk to Sharon over the phone. Once Sharon assures Nick that she’s fine, she’ll mention Adam’s visit earlier.

Sharon will also get updates on Nick’s forced leave of absence and will feel confident he can find other work to fill his time.

When Adam spots Nick at the bar afterward, there’ll be some tension as he blasts Nick for stepping up for Sharon while Sally suffered.

Nick also won’t be happy about Adam turning to Sharon for advice when she’s been dealing with so much.

From Adam’s perspective, he’ll feel like Nick got to play the hero while Adam was stuck making all the hard decisions and facing backlash.

Nick will point out that he’s grateful to Adam for being there for Sally and that he tried to convince her to forgive him.

However, what happens now is up to Sally, so Nick will push Adam to respect her wishes and back off if he ever cared about her.

Adam will sarcastically thank Nick for the advice as he leaves.

In a GCAC suite, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will make a phone call about the romantic deliveries he wants for Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and will strip down to his undergarments before someone walks in.

Michael will assume it’s Lauren, so he’ll scramble to get dressed again when he sees that it’s Phyllis instead.

Phyllis will get a hug from Michael, but he’ll obviously still be pretty ticked off about her deception.

Phyllis will insist she needs Michael to take her case, so Michael will admit Summer already asked him to do the same thing.

After Michael snaps about how many laws Summer has broken for Phyllis, he’ll add that Summer’s going to be in big trouble if she doesn’t watch her step.

Michael will note that Summer wanted to bribe EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) to commit perjury and convince him to confess that he witnessed Phyllis killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense.

Phyllis will claim that Carson really did witness the whole thing, so she’ll argue that it’s not perjury – and she’ll insist it’s her plan, not Summer’s.

Michael will admit that Carson could strengthen Phyllis’ case, but he’ll explain that they haven’t been able to locate him – even with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) help.

When Phyllis asks if Michael will represent her, he’ll wonder if she’s willing to turn herself in. Phyllis will insist she can’t do that, so Michael will seem worried that he may never see Phyllis again.

Fortunately, Phyllis will agree to strike a deal. If Michael can work his magic, then Phyllis will vow to come back with bells on!

As Phyllis dons her disguise and leaves on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Michael will wipe tears from his eyes and watch her go.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis still has some tight spots ahead of her, so stay tuned.
