The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 21, teases that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will have a tense encounter with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), who’ll think her involvement in the arbitration is about revenge.
However, Amanda will urge Devon not to flatter himself and will insist that watching him lose is just a perk.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will seem uncomfortable over all the tension before Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) hurries everyone into the room for the case.
The arbitrator will hear Christine’s argument first, so she’ll talk about Devon creating Hamilton-Winters with Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).
Christine will complain about the IPO and act like Devon’s desire to work with family was exploited.
Nevertheless, Amanda will argue that Devon is asking the court to help him with a breach of contract.
After Amanda warns that you can’t change the rules in the middle of a game, Devon will ask for a recess.
Once the arbitrator allows it, Christine will head to Society with Devon and warn him not to get rattled.
Devon will clearly be having trouble with the shots Amanda is taking at him, but Christine won’t want him to show that in front of the arbitrator.
After Devon wonders if Christine was able to get a read on what the arbitrator was thinking, he’ll ask if it’s bad.
Meanwhile, Amanda will head to Crimson Lights with Lily, who’ll feel like Amanda is attacking Devon both personally and professionally.
Amanda will remind Lily that she has to use all the ammo available to her and will be determined to win this case.
At the ranch on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will offer Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) an alternative to the IPO, which would mean letting outsiders make decisions about Chancellor-Winters.
Instead, Victor will suggest Jill could turn to private investors who would guarantee in writing that they’d stay out of the decision-making process.
Jill will assume Victor has somebody in mind, so he’ll admit he’s willing to offer the money that Jill thinks Chancellor-Winters deserves.
In Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) office, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will want to clear the air about what happened at The Grand Phoenix.
Victoria will insist it’s fine and will offer to apologize for overstepping if it’d make Nate feel better.
Nate will argue that no apology is necessary, especially since Victoria wouldn’t mean it anyway.
Once Nate pushes Victoria to admit she doesn’t think she overstepped, she’ll confess that’s true and share a laugh with him.
Although Victoria would’ve liked to explore their chemistry and how explosive it could be, she’ll respect Nate’s decision not to cave in. Victoria will insist they don’t have to act on their attraction, no matter how powerful it is.
After Nate and Victoria try to get some work done, he’ll be distracted since Devon and Lily’s arbitration is today.
Despite their disagreement on what the outcome should be, Victoria will hope Nate’s able to heal the rift with his family.
Victoria will also reflect all the unscrupulous people she’s been with romantically and will find Nate’s moral compass refreshing – even though they aren’t together.
Once Victoria suggests Nate should cut himself some slack, Nate will guess that Victoria is the only one who feels that way.
When Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) shows up looking for Nate at Newman Media, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will mention that he’s in a meeting. Elena will assume Nate is with Victoria before Audra asks if she wants to get coffee together.
On the Crimson Lights patio, Audra will confess that she’s troubled by Nate’s relationship with Victoria.
After Audra admits they’re always together, she’ll add that Victoria and Nate don’t always seem focused on business.
Elena will ask if Audra thinks Nate and Victoria are having an affair, but Audra won’t be sure if anything physical has happened yet.
That said, Audra will feel like things are headed in that direction.
Elena will seem appreciative of Audra’s updates, but she won’t understand why Nate would jeopardize their relationship after everything they’ve gone through to rebuild.
The whole thing will leave Elena wondering if she should try to catch Nate in the act, trust him when he says nothing is going on or fight for him.
Audra won’t think Elena is one to sit back and do nothing, so she’ll offer a way to change the status quo.
That’ll lead to Audra reflecting on the research she did on Victoria and all her romantic partners.
Based on everything Audra’s read, she’ll feel like there was one man who might be the great love of Victoria’s life.
Audra will discuss how he changed and became violent after his time away, so Elena will realize she’s talking about J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill).
Elena will note that J.T. had a brain tumor, so it wasn’t really fault that he spiraled.
Audra will insist that J.T. could make an interesting case study and will reveal that he’s been released from prison. It turns out J.T. has just been avoiding Genoa City due to everything that happened there.
Once Audra pitches the idea of Elena sharing J.T.’s story on her medical podcast, she’ll suggest it’d give Elena an opportunity to work with Nate. Plus, it might have an impact on Victoria and her feelings.
Audra will point out that maybe a love like J.T. and Victoria’s never really dies, so Elena will seem intrigued – especially since she could highlight the effects of brain tumors.
Even so, Elena won’t be willing to toy with emotions just to get Victoria to stop trying to steal Nate.
Although the podcast will be off the table, Elena will admit that Audra has given her a lot to think about. Audra will act like she’s just happy to do whatever she can to help.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate’s love life will come with more drama, so stay tuned for news on his romantic future.
