The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, March 7 – Adam Loses It Over Billy & Chelsea’s Romance – Nick Shuts Down Summer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 7, reveals Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will acknowledge the flowers and pastries that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is bringing to his lunch with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

After Billy admits he’s good friends with Chelsea and maybe a little more, he’ll assure Sharon that he wouldn’t consciously do anything to jeopardize her progress.

However, Sharon will point out that it doesn’t have to be a conscious thing and will express concern about Chelsea’s dependency on Billy.

Although Sharon won’t be saying that Chelsea’s dependency on Billy is causing her to regress, she’ll just think this is something for Billy to be aware of.

At Chelsea’s apartment, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will show up to check on her and guess she’s having lunch with Billy once he sees the table’s set.

That’ll leave Adam assuming Billy and Chelsea are moving beyond friendship, so he’ll insist she deserves so much better.

Once Adam rants about Billy being toxic, Billy will arrive and bicker with him until Chelsea shuts it down.

After Adam leaves, Chelsea will explain the reason for this fancy lunch since she wants to celebrate her pitch to Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei).

Although Billy will seem a little uneasy about things moving so fast, Chelsea will insist her therapist is on board with this project.

Once Chelsea explains how she pitched her idea for the gaming platform to Daniel and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Billy will be excited for her.

Since Billy will seem a little more distant than usual, Chelsea will wonder if something’s up.

Billy will blame his distraction on Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) job offer and will admit he’s seriously considering it.

Once Billy talks about Chelsea helping him see what’s important, he’ll acknowledge that he’d like to work with his family again.

Chelsea will ultimately talk about knowing she needs to stand on her own, but she’ll be grateful that Billy is in her life.

At the Abbott house on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will give Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) updates on Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnancy.

Kyle will be shocked over the news that Sally is having Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) baby – and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is standing by her!

After Summer acts like Sally probably loved watching her squirm, Kyle will urge his wife to see that this is a baby, not a stunt.

Summer will initially gripe about Kyle defending Summer, but she’ll soften and admit he’s right about the baby being the focus.

That said, Summer will insist Kyle’s being naïve if he thinks for one second that Sally wouldn’t use that baby to manipulate Nick.

Kyle will push Summer to accept that Nick’s romance with Sally has gone a few steps beyond casual – and it’s Nick’s decision if he wants to stick with her.

Once Sally brings Nick up to speed on her Summer run-in, he’ll head over to the Abbott house to confront his daughter.

Nick will dismiss the notion that Sally is using him, but Summer will remain skeptical.

After Summer suggests Sally waited to tell Nick about the pregnancy so she could reel him in, Nick will deny that she has an agenda.

Nick will maintain that what he shares with Sally is real and the fact that she’s having Adam’s baby doesn’t change that.

Although Nick will assure Summer that he loves all his children, that doesn’t mean they get to run his life.

Nick will push Summer to open her heart to the idea of him being in a relationship with Sally.

At Society, Lily will think she owes Chelsea her gratitude for reenergizing Daniel when it comes to his project.

Lily will also talk to Daniel about the pre-trial conference date and how this lawsuit is really happening.

Daniel will defend Devon a bit since hiring Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) was a harsh move, but he’ll also understand that she’s the best person for the job.

Although Daniel will hold out hope that Lily and Devon can come together instead of being driven apart, Lily will think they’re past the point of a solution.

Once Lily leaves, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will approach Daniel after eavesdropping.

After asking if Daniel has a minute, Nate will suggest it sounds like they both want the same thing.

Back at Crimson Lights, Sharon will encourage Adam to open up, but he won’t want her to play shrink and will argue that he’s just there for coffee.

Nevertheless, Sharon will insist she’s being a friend and will think Chelsea’s lunch with Billy is contributing to Adam’s foul mood.

Adam will admit that he voiced his concerns about Chelsea’s connection to Billy and will hint that maybe Sharon could get through to her.

Sharon will urge Adam to stop focusing on things he can’t control and perhaps focus on something like his job instead.

Right as Adam’s about to admit he left Jabot, Kyle will waltz in.

Once Kyle and Adam push each other’s buttons, Sharon will realize Kyle plotted with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to get him out of Jabot – though Adam ended up resigning.

After Kyle decides to get his coffee elsewhere, Adam will tell Sharon about Victor’s seemingly legit job offer.

Sharon will suggest that maybe Adam and Victor could work through their issues, so Adam will call his dad soon after to set up a meeting.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Victor have a chance at a fresh start, so stay tuned to see if they can stay on this path forward.
