The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, October 10 – Tucker’s Listening Device Fools Abbotts

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 10, reveals that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will approach Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) at the GCAC bar and wonder if how sincere he was about establishing peace with the Abbotts.

Tucker will assure Devon that he doesn’t want any more chaos in his life, so he’ll act like he’s letting his feud with the Abbotts go.

Devon will hope that’s true, but he’ll obviously have doubts about that.

Since Devon caught Tucker and Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) sharing a look earlier, he’ll ask about the connection between them.

Tucker will insist it was merely a glance – just a look of recognition and nothing more.

As Devon pushes Tucker to be honest, he’ll mention all Tucker’s previous shady dealings before bringing up Mamie’s investment in Chancellor-Winters.

Although Devon will think there has to be a link, Tucker will continue to deny it and hope that Devon can eventually reach a point where suspicion isn’t his first instinct with him.

Outside the Abbott mansion after the party, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will share a dance with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) as they reflect on proving all the naysayers wrong.

Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will push Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to just throw away the gift Tucker brought over since that’s what Jack said to do.

Billy won’t be able to satisfy his curiosity without looking inside, so he’ll ultimately find a bonsai tree to go with the card about harmony, balance and peace.

Later, Jack will be annoyed over Billy opening Tucker’s present, but Diane will be glad he did since now they don’t have to wonder what was inside the box.

Diane will hope that since they scored leverage on Tucker, this is his way of genuinely backing off.

Jack won’t be as optimistic about that, but Diane will act like they shouldn’t waste their time waiting for Tucker to drop another shoe.

In Tucker’s suite, he’ll eavesdrop on that conversation on his phone, so it’ll become clear that a listening device was planted in the bonsai tree.

At Crimson Lights, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will track down Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) since she wasn’t able to really talk to him at the wedding reception.

Kyle will keep his walls up initially since Audra fired him and cut ties, but she’ll admit she misses him and wants to fix things between them.

Soon after, Kyle will head back to Audra’s suite for a hot hookup, so they’ll have a conversation once they’re basking in the afterglow.

Audra will insist she changed her mind and doesn’t care if Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) fires her over their romance, so Kyle will suspect she’s got a backup plan.

Although Audra will hint about some options, she’ll put the focus back on Kyle and what irons he might have in the fire.

Kyle will hope that Jack might force Billy out and let him slide back into the co-CEO spot instead, but Audra will feel like Diane is the more logical choice.

However, Kyle will disagree since Diane isn’t ready for that position – and he’ll think Jack knows that on some level.

Audra will question what Kyle will do if Jack doesn’t let Billy go, so Kyle will hint about having to move things along in that case.

In Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) suite, he’ll do some house-hunting online before Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) arrives.

Heather will seem flustered once Daniel lets her inside, so he’ll gently push her to open up.

After Heather talks about feeling like things weren’t resolved, she’ll mention Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) suggestion about moving back to the states.

Heather will admit she’s indeed decided to move back to Genoa City with Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).

Daniel will assure Heather that he’ll be thrilled to see both of them every day and feel like a family again.

That’ll be all Heather needed to hear, so she’ll be relieved over Daniel’s reaction to the news and will make plans to move home with Lucy from Portugal immediately.

Daniel will admit he wasn’t sure Heather would ever want to be close to him again, but she’ll insist she’s forgiven him for his past mistakes.

Downstairs, Daniel will hug Heather and talk about how great this is going to be, but there’ll be some awkwardness.

After Daniel gets Heather to agree to have a drink with him tomorrow, he’ll leave her looking hopeful yet pensive.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Heather’s bond will lead to issues in his relationship with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), so stay tuned for updates on the drama that’s brewing.
