The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 17, reveals that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will spend some time in bed with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and eventually get him to hear her out when it comes to a risky new proposition.
Since Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) isn’t willing to give Kyle his old job back, Audra will hint about being able to get it for him. A confused Kyle will question how Audra plans to do that, so she’ll mention that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is going after Jabot.
Audra will want Kyle to join her alliance with Tucker, but Kyle will think that sounds insane since it’d mean betraying his family.
Kyle will also worry that Audra roped him back into bed to seduce him into this, but Audra will insist she knew Kyle would make the decision for himself.
As Kyle gets dressed, Audra will continue her pitch since they could run Jabot together and do it the right way.
Kyle will feel like this would mean blowing up his family dynasty and will point out that he could tell Jack everything that Audra just told him.
Audra will argue that the Abbotts already know Tucker is coming after them, so Kyle would only be compromising her.
After Audra shrugs that she can take the hit, she’ll once again urge Kyle to get on board with this alliance instead of accepting Jack’s crumbs.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack will fill Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in on Tucker’s bugged bonsai tree and how Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tipped him off.
Billy will suggest that Phyllis could still be playing for Tucker’s team and will act like maybe her helpful tip was an act of misdirection.
Jack, on the other hand, will feel like Phyllis is genuinely trying to repair the damage with her children and stand against Tucker since his plans affect Marchetti.
Phyllis wouldn’t want to do anything else to hurt Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), so Jack will be more hopeful about her being on their side – even if he’s a long way from really trusting her.
At Society, Phyllis will meet up with Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) for a celebratory dinner after her first day in the IT department at Omega Sphere.
Although Phyllis will crack some jokes about how young her new boss is, she’ll act like she’s all about staying on this fresh, productive path.
When Tucker comes in, he’ll greet the three of them and compliment Phyllis on how radiant she looks. Once Tucker’s sitting at the bar, he’ll glare at Phyllis and seemingly try to unnerve her.
Daniel and Summer will notice, so they’ll push Phyllis for answers about her connection to Tucker. Phyllis will deny having one, so Daniel will eventually head over to the bar and grill Tucker about all the staring.
Tucker will claim that he’s just jealous of Phyllis bonding with her family and will ultimately offer to pay their dinner tab.
After Daniel returns to Phyllis and Summer with updates on what Tucker said, Phyllis will hint that buying them dinner is the least he could do.
That comment will leave Summer and Daniel with more questions, but Phyllis will insist she doesn’t owe Tucker anything.
Once Daniel and Summer urge Phyllis to go thank Tucker for dinner, she’ll head to the bar.
Tucker will call Phyllis out on helping the Abbotts and will play a recording of Jack talking about what Phyllis found on him.
Phyllis will make it clear that their business has concluded, but Tucker will disagree and urge her to meet him in his suite in 15 minutes.
Summer and Daniel will once again pick up on a weird vibe, so they’ll confront Phyllis once Tucker is gone. In fact, Daniel and Summer will threaten to walk right out the door if Phyllis doesn’t come clean.
Phyllis will end up confessing that she helped Jack by hacking into Tucker’s system and finding out about the listening device.
Although Phyllis will defend her actions since she was on the right side of this feud, Summer and Daniel will hate that she went back to scamming.
Phyllis made herself Tucker’s target, so Daniel and Summer will continue to complain.
Phyllis will fume and act like they won’t accept her attempts to make things right, so Summer and Daniel will ultimately apologize for being unfair.
Back at the Abbott mansion, Jack will bring up the possibility of using the listening device to feed Tucker bogus information, but Billy will think Tucker would see right through that plan.
Instead, Billy will want to go public with all the dirt they have on Tucker and bring the hammer down on him. It would prove that they’re ready to go up against Tucker in this fight.
When Kyle arrives looking pensive and interrupts the conversation, Jack will ask his son what’s wrong.
Over with Phyllis again, she’ll reassure Summer and Daniel about being able to handle Tucker. Phyllis will get a text and make up an excuse about having more work to do, so she’ll take off.
Summer will talk to Daniel about there being more to the story – and she’ll worry since this kind of thing usually doesn’t have a happy ending when it comes to Phyllis.
Next on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis will arrive at Tucker’s suite and contend that she’s holding all the cards.
Tucker will get some bad news since Phyllis uncovered his connection to Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) while doing a deep dive on him.
Phyllis won’t think Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) would like hearing that Mamie and Tucker are silent partners.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will ask Tucker how they should proceed and will seem quite smug about discovering Tucker’s secret, so stay tuned!
