The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 24, reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will catch Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) chair and question what he’s doing in his father’s office.
Adam will claim Victor asked him to get some private documents, but Nate will seem skeptical about that explanation.
At the jazz lounge on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Adam will track down Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and insist they have to put their issues aside to focus on Victor’s well-being.
Nick will admit Victor made more slipups, including being confused about who was running Newman Media and thinking Adam’s baby with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was still alive.
Adam will also point out that Victor blew up at him and then acted like it never happened – not to mention he said Nick was coming back to Newman Enterprises, which Nick will confirm isn’t true.
After Adam shows Nick the serpent sketch, they’ll mull over the fact that Victor used his children’s names to make the lines of this elaborate drawing.
Adam will think this is a sign that Victor is unwell and needs their help, but Nick will tell him to leave it alone and take off to handle this himself.
However, Adam will decide to call Dr. Shelton (Stefan Marks) once he’s alone and will want to meet to discuss his father.
At the Newman ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will seem like she’s on the verge of telling Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) the truth when Victor walks in.
Victor will wonder if Victoria’s there to check up on him, but she won’t see why that’s such a bad thing.
Although Victor will complain about Victoria perpetuating the idea that he’s losing his marbles, Victoria will push him to see that this is coming from a place of genuine love and concern.
Victor will think Victoria only cares about reclaiming the CEO spot, but she’ll argue that she cares about her father more.
After Victoria pushes Victor to speak with a professional, she’ll vow to let it go if the doctor agrees that nothing is wrong.
Victoria will suggest Victor can throw a big “I told you so” party if that’s the case – and Nikki will hint that it’d be good to give the children peace of mind with all the facts.
Nevertheless, Victor will only agree to think about seeing a professional. Once Victor is alone with Nikki, he’ll act like he can’t trust her since he caught her almost blabbing to Victoria.
Nikki will admit she was tempted, but she’ll assure Victor that she’d never betray his trust. That said, Nikki will think this charade is hurting the children and will do her best to convince Victor to end it.
When Nick barges in, he’ll insist he’s onto Victor and will pressure his dad to come clean.
At Society, Victoria will meet up with Nate, who’ll share news about his suspicious encounter with Adam since he busted him in Victor’s office.
Nate will point out that when he initially talked to Adam about Victor’s potential mental problems, Adam’s first thought was protecting the company. Victoria will definitely worry about Adam using Victor’s condition to his advantage.
At Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) new place, he’ll have a tiny housewarming party with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
As the four of them enjoy Champagne and snacks, Phyllis will talk about her surprise and delight over Daniel staying in town for good.
Daniel will seem irritated once the topic of Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) comes up.
Phyllis will insist she’s excited about spending more time with her granddaughter, but Daniel will clearly suspect she’s trying to cause trouble in his relationship using Heather.
At one point, Danny will praise Phyllis over the way she turned her life around and will seem genuinely impressed with how she’s handled so many obstacles.
After the party wraps up, Daniel will apologize to Lily, but she’ll actually side with Phyllis and act like Daniel’s the one who’s trying to turn Heather into an issue.
Daniel will eventually claim that he’s not and will pull Lily into a hug to shut down the bickering, but he’ll still look pensive.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis and Danny will discuss how the party went. Although Phyllis will claim she likes Lily, she won’t be a fan of her reunion with Daniel.
Danny will warn Phyllis about meddling and note that couples can have second chances, so Phyllis will suggest she’s grateful for the reminder.
There’ll be some flirty, close moments between Danny and Phyllis before she heads out.
Once Danny sits on the patio, Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) will walk in and catch him off guard.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Christine and Danny will have a lot to talk about, so stay tuned for updates on her disastrous Portugal trip.
