The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 27, reveals that Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will find Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) sharing a meal at the GCAC.
Phyllis will suddenly act all weird and push for a conversation in private, so Danny will take her back to Daniel’s penthouse. That’s where Phyllis will play up the heat between them and plant a kiss on Danny.
Although Danny will pull back and wonder what Phyllis is doing, she’ll insist she’s doing what they both want.
After Phyllis talks about the different vibe between them now, she’ll act like they can move beyond the pain of the past since she’s a changed woman.
Phyllis will plant another kiss, so Danny will pull back in hesitation again before diving for her lips and kissing back.
However, Danny will ultimately come to his senses and admit he’s got a lot to lose when it comes to Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
Danny will get how Phyllis might’ve misinterpreted their bond, but he’ll make it clear that he only wants friendship.
Phyllis will point out that whatever Danny’s trying to recreate with Christine isn’t going to work and will suggest he could have something new with her instead.
When Danny stands his ground, Phyllis will claim she can pretend this never happened, but she’ll purr in his ear and act like he doesn’t know what he’s missing.
At Crimson Lights, Christine will seem excited about where things are headed with Danny as she chats with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman).
Daniel will come along with the news that Phyllis is having a private conversation with Danny, so he’ll express concern over her turning this into a competition with Christine.
After Christine leaves on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Daniel will push Lauren and Michael to talk Phyllis out of her doomed plans.
Once Christine shows up at Daniel’s place, Danny will open the door to her and seem flustered.
When Danny says he hopes he cleared things up for Phyllis, she’ll hope she did the same for him and will saunter off seductively.
Christine will wonder why Phyllis seemed so pleased with herself, but Danny will assure Christine that she’s the one he wants.
Since they’re so close to something good, Danny will beg Christine not to let anything mess this up, so they’ll share a passionate kiss.
At Chancellor-Winters, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will stop by to speak with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) about the scandal again and will suggest that it was all blown out of proportion.
Devon will disagree and admit he’s starting to regret letting Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) see Tucker for Christmas.
Tucker will hope Devon doesn’t mean that since he loves Dominic – and although he’ll know Devon doesn’t want to hear it, Tucker will insist he loves him, too.
Devon will end up running down the list of all the terrible things Tucker’s done since he came back to Genoa City.
There won’t be anything that would indicate to Devon that Tucker’s capable of change.
That’s why Devon will suggest this should be the moment when they decide to stop contacting each other.
Devon will need to get back to work, so he’ll push Tucker to leave and look pensive as he goes.
In Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) suite, she’ll watch Clarence’s (Brad Sanders) report on Tucker, so Clarence will play up how bad the scandal was and talk about spilling all the tea.
When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) shows up, Audra will rip into him since reporters could dig into this and expose her involvement through those emails.
Kyle will initially stick to his story about not knowing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) were making this move, but Audra will push him to stop gaslighting her.
After Kyle finally confesses that he indeed knew about the plan to leak the story, he’ll act like Tucker could’ve blown up their own scheme if he’d told him in advance.
Audra will cry and accuse Kyle of using her, but he’ll point out that she was using him, too.
Kyle will feel like Audra understands that they’re both on the same level now, so he’ll push her to keep working with him.
When Tucker arrives, he’ll voice his displeasure over Kyle not warning them about Billy and Jack’s plan.
Kyle will go back to his story of being kept out of the loop and act like it’s motivating him to keep helping Tucker.
After Kyle admits he scored the launch info, chem charts, formula and marketing plan for Jabot’s 2025 fragrance, he’ll ask if Tucker’s going to move forward or wave the white flag.
Tucker will urge Kyle to send him the details while he decides his next move, but Kyle will push him to make a decision first. Then, Kyle will decide whether he still wants to supply the information.
At the Abbott mansion, Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will worry about the plot against Tucker not being strong enough to stop him forever.
Diane will end up questioning Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidison) about her regrets regarding Tucker and whether she would’ve done anything differently, but Ashley will refuse to confide in her since they’re not friends.
After Diane suggests it’d break her if she lost Jack the way Ashley lost Tucker, Ashley will act like she’s not as vulnerable as Diane.
Ashley will act like she just wants to stop Tucker and get rid of him permanently.
At the jazz lounge, Phyllis will join Tucker at the bar and suggest this town isn’t big enough for the both of them since they keep meeting like this.
Tucker will hint that maybe it’s time for him to kiss Genoa City goodbye.
Nearby, Ashley will walk in and look uneasy as she spots Tucker with Phyllis.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley still has some messy emotions to unpack when it comes to Tucker, so stay tuned for updates on how she’ll do that.
