The Young and the Restless Recap: Wednesday, June 14 – Cameron’s Hiding Inside Sharon’s House

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 14, reveals that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will insist she has to meet with Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) alone at midnight or else things could end in disaster for Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will object, but Sharon will point out that he can’t go charging over to the motel and put their daughter in more danger.

When Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) arrives, he’ll get updates on Cameron kidnapping Faith and will contact a special ops guy whose specialty is rescue missions.

Although Sharon will plan to meet with Cameron by herself, she’ll have Nick and a security team serving as discreet backup in the distance.

Victor will thank Sharon for putting her life at risk to save Faith and will assure her that he’ll never forget it.

At Society, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will suggest to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) that prison might actually be good for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), but he’ll hold out hope that his mother can avoid it.

At the Abbott house, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will bump into Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so she’ll invite her mother-in-law to let her have it for keeping Phyllis’ secrets.

Diane will surprise Summer by insisting that she’s already forgiven her and wants to convince Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to forgive her, too.

Summer will be grateful at first, but tension will erupt once Diane starts blaming Phyllis for manipulating her.

After Summer acts like Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) coerced Phyllis into doing what she did, she’ll argue that Diane’s connection to Stark brought him into all their lives.

Diane will insist she’s not the one who brought Stark to town, but Summer will stand her ground about Diane not being innocent before stomping off.

At the jazz lounge, Kyle will sulk at the bar and flash back to ripping into Summer over all her lies.

When Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) appears, she’ll ask if the seat next to Kyle is taken.

Kyle will let Audra sit and will remember her since she returned his phone to him at the gala.

Although Audra will try to quiz Kyle about the whole Phyllis situation, he’ll be wary of her agenda and will think he should keep his guard up.

Audra will defend herself as an ambitious achiever and will act like Kyle could benefit from opening up to a stranger.

Kyle will decide to let Audra open up instead and will ask her questions about why she came to town.

After Audra talks about her career path, she’ll admit she’s found a home at Newman Media and that she plans to see what opportunities present themselves.

Audra will end up mentioning how some people are afraid of their own desires – like they’re ashamed to admit how badly they want something.

Kyle will ask if they’re still talking about jobs, so Audra will reply with a “you tell me” and a sly smile.

Once Kyle thanks Audra for distracting him, she’ll consider the night a success if she cheered him up even a little bit.

Kyle will tell Audra congratulations and urge her to have a good rest of the night, so she’ll tell him to do the same and seem intrigued as he goes.

At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will run into Summer and lash out over the way she hurt Kyle as well as Diane.

Summer will push Mariah to think about how she’d feel if she thought she lost Sharon forever and then felt her mother needed protecting.

Mariah will admit she’d do anything to keep Sharon safe and close in that case, but she still won’t agree with what Summer did.

After Summer starts hinting for Mariah to convince Kyle to forgive her, Mariah will act like Summer has to face the consequences of her actions.

Although Summer has matured in a lot of ways, Mariah will think she’s still her mother’s daughter and has a selfish streak of recklessness.

Mariah will admit she truly wanted Kyle and Summer’s marriage to work out, so Summer will wonder if she’s saying it won’t.

Once Mariah pushes Summer to take a long, hard look at what she’s done, she’ll urge her to give Kyle the time he needs.

Mariah will insist that it’ll take a lot to earn Kyle’s forgiveness.

After Mariah says she isn’t sure if Summer can ever earn Kyle’s trust again, she’ll think Summer has no one but herself to blame.

When Summer comes home on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll be eager to talk things out with Kyle, but he’ll refuse to do it tonight and will leave the room.

Back at the cottage, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will get the latest news about the Faith photo that Cameron sent along with the motel demand for Sharon.

Chance will also admit that he found a satchel in Cameron’s room, which contained the deed to some property on the outskirts of town.

After revealing it’s an old, abandoned garage near the motel, Chance will plan to check it out and see if Faith’s there – though Nick will suspect it’s too easy and could be a trap.

On his way out, Chance will warn Sharon and Nick not to go to the motel since it’s too dangerous, but they’ll privately know they don’t have a choice.

Nick won’t want Sharon facing Cameron unarmed, so he’ll tape a knife to her leg in case the baddie snaps on her.

After Sharon and Nick have a quick strategy session, Nick will decide to run up to the main house to talk to the security team about the need to be discreet.

Once Nick tells Sharon to meet him behind the house in 10 minutes, he’ll walk out the door.

Cameron will come out of hiding once Nick is gone, so he’ll announce himself to Sharon as he appears on the staircase.

“Hi, Sharon,” Cameron will declare while wearing the Newman security uniform he stole. “Everybody’s gone. Just you and me.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will gasp in terror, so stay tuned for the showdown ahead.
