The Young and the Restless Recap: Wednesday, June 21 – Victoria Forces Nick Out of Newman – Sally’s Move-In Offer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 21, reveals that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will help Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) out at Crimson Lights since they’ll want to stay busy. After Faith has a trauma flashback on the patio, Sharon will urge her not to bottle up her feelings.

When Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) arrives to check on them, Faith will insist on getting him some free scones.

Chance will wonder how Sharon is holding up, so she’ll suggest she’s doing OK under the circumstances.

At the hospital, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will stop by Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) room, so she’ll pretend she’s asleep until he leaves.

Once Adam makes it to the coffeehouse, he’ll lash out at Chance for not doing enough to help Sharon and Faith.

However, Faith will insist both Adam and Chance are heroes in her book since they saved her life.

Adam will insist he’s no hero before walking toward the main dining area, so Sharon will follow and do her best to offer comfort.

Although Adam will question how Sharon can be so kind after he made her think she lost her baby, Sharon will insist no one deserves this pain.

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will give Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) updates on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) losing her baby.

Victoria will think that just adds to all the Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) chaos and is another reason for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to take a leave of absence.

Although Nikki will point out that Victoria refused to take a break after her Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) nightmare, Victoria will act like the circumstances were different.

When Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) arrives, Nikki will assume he’s in favor of Victoria’s agenda regarding Nick, but Nate will play dumb about it.

After Nikki leaves, Victoria will reiterate that Nick needs to take time off – and she’ll want Nate to be more involved in the bigger corporate picture as her brother’s replacement.

At the hospital, Nick will bring Sally a blueberry muffin, so she’ll admit she pretended to sleep when Adam dropped by earlier.

Sally will be outraged over Adam thinking that anything has changed since he let their baby die.

Nick will point out that Adam lost his child too and won’t be able to fault Adam’s decision, especially after Cameron forced him to choose between Sharon and Faith.

Sally will be so sorry for what Nick went through, but she won’t think it’s entirely the same situation.

Once Sally says their little girl deserved to take her first breath, she’ll insist Adam robbed her of that.

When Sally asks if Nick would’ve saved Sharon over Faith, he’ll contend that she’s right about it being a different situation.

Sally will assume Nick would’ve saved Faith and will ask if he would’ve saved her little girl, too.

Before Nick can answer, he’ll take a call from Victoria and agree to come by the office since Sally needs to sleep anyway.

After Nick hangs up, he’ll make another speech in defense of Adam and will urge Sally to forgive him for her own sake as well.

Letting go of all the anger will bring healing faster.

When Sally gets out of the hospital, Nick will wonder how she’d feel about moving in with him.

Sally will be surprised over Nick’s offer to live together, so he’ll give her some time to think about it.

Back at Crimson Lights, Nick will bump into Adam and assure him that he made the right decision.

Although Nick will advise giving Sally more space and time to heal, Adam will end up visiting her hospital room again.

As Adam sits by Sally’s bedside while she feigns sleep, he’ll talk about the impossible dilemma he faced.

Adam will admit he knew Sally would’ve wanted him to save their daughter, but he saved Sally because he loved her.

After Adam confesses that he’ll never forgive himself for breaking Sally’s heart, he’ll kiss her hand tenderly and walk out.

Sally will cry after listening to Adam’s emotional speech.

At the coffeehouse, Faith will admit she wants to return to Ann Arbor and pick up a summer class or perhaps get a job on campus.

It’ll be too hard for Faith to stay in Genoa City after everything that happened with Cameron.

Nick and Sharon will relent on letting Faith return to campus, so she’ll promise to stay in touch frequently and will join them for a group hug.

Back with Nate, he’ll worry about Nick seeing forced time off as a unilateral move to remove him from the COO spot.

Y&R spoilers say Victoria will hope this doesn’t turn into a big battle.

As for Nate and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Victoria will mention seeing them huddled with their heads together last night.

Nate will suggest Victoria should’ve joined them, but she’ll act like she didn’t want to interrupt.

Nate will reassure Victoria about Audra being a star as long as they keep her ambition harnessed and focused.

Victoria will contend that if Nate trusts Audra, then she trusts her, too.

When Sharon gets a moment alone with Chance, she’ll thank him for saving Faith and will insist they’re all alive because of him.

Sharon will add that she’s never going to forget that as she pulls Chance into a warm embrace.

Once Nate runs into Nikki at Society, she’ll accuse him of hijacking Nick’s position at Newman Enterprises.

Although Nate will defend himself, Nikki will make it clear that he needs to proceed with caution.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll offer sympathy over everything Nick’s been through and will push him to take time off.

Nick will want to stay busy with work, but Victoria will argue that she can’t trust him to make sound decisions right now.

After Nick gets agitated and repeats that he doesn’t want time off, Victoria will fire back that she’s not asking him.

Since the choice has already been made, Victoria will order Nick to step away from his role as COO.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will look blindsided by Victoria’s revelation, so that’ll mean bad news for their sibling bond.
