The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) may ultimately have to do what’s right for her – no matter what Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) thinks about it.
Y&R fans know Abby got into a huge fight with Chance the last time she brought up potentially moving out of the Chancellor mansion.
That led to Chance assuming Abby was moving on with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and would be moving in with him, too.
Abby denied it, so Chance saw no need to disrupt Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) routine – especially since they’re already putting their son through a tough transition period.
Chance and Abby’s divorce has caused their family’s stability to take a hit, so Chance doesn’t want to make things worse.
Although Abby agreed to stay put at the Chancellor estate, she can’t remain there forever.
It just doesn’t feel like home to Abby anymore, so she may struggle to stay for much longer.
Despite Abby’s insistence that she wouldn’t be moving in with Devon, she might accept a move-in offer anyway.
It just makes sense considering Abby spends so much time over there these days.
Dominic is used to Devon’s penthouse since he stays over there frequently, so that may be a factor in Abby’s decision.
Of course, Abby has also been growing closer to Devon, so there might be a romantic aspect to consider, too.
Regardless, it seems like Abby may have to revisit this discussion with Chance soon enough.
That could lead to Abby admitting she wants to move out of the Chancellor mansion and live with Devon instead.
Chance may think he was right all along and battle major anger over the situation.
Although Chance still won’t want to uproot Dominic from the home he knows best, he may have to accept that Abby’s going to make the move.
Divorces can be painful and messy, so this next step is just a natural part of the process.
At least Chance will have Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to open up to when difficulties arise!
