The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will get a major wakeup call during the week of October 30-November 3. Although Adam’s been working hard to help Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) with his diminished mental capacity, he may soon find out it’s all been a lie.
Y&R fans know Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) came clean to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), but they were both content to just leave Adam in the dark and let Victor keep duping him.
However, Adam may get some more clues and eventually put it together that he’s been deceived.
That could lead to the wakeup call we mentioned and set the stage for Adam’s big reaction.
Adam always feels like an outsider in his own family, but this will really take things to the next level.
Victor tricked Adam with fake dementia while his siblings ultimately plotted to make sure he crashed and burned.
Once the truth comes out, Adam may wash his hands of the Newman clan and decide not to deal with them anymore. Revenge may not even be something Adam wants if he decides the Newmans just aren’t worth the time and energy.
Victor’s trap could backfire spectacularly if it pushes Adam too far and leads to him disowning his father.
Adam might argue that he’s done being Victor’s son and suggest Victor should just focus on his other children from now on.
It’s easy to imagine an angry Adam insisting he could never do something so cruel to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), even if Connor were an adult.
It was bad enough back when Victor faked his demise, but nothing has really changed since he’s faking mental issues now.
In addition to potentially cutting Victor out of his life, Adam might quit Newman Enterprises and announce that he’s done with the family business for good.
Victor has sunk awfully low with his latest plot, so it’s only fair for him to pay the price for that.
Adam may have a pretty harsh response when it comes to how he’ll choose to handle Victor’s painful betrayal.
