The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may end up feeling drawn to someone from his past. It’s honestly kind of frustrating when the show acts like Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was the great love of Adam’s life since that’s clearly not true.
Although Adam developed a nice connection with Sally once upon a time, they barely had a chance to date before everything blew up.
It’s not the same thing as Adam’s history with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) or Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
We want to focus on Adam’s link to Chelsea for a moment since they shared years together and have a young son.
Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is dealing with some major issues right now – ones that seem to be getting worse.
That alone will be a reason for Adam to put more of his attention on Connor, Chelsea and the family he still has.
Adam assured Chelsea that they’d get a professional’s help, so they’re hoping to make Connor an appointment with a child psychologist soon.
Of course, Y&R spoilers say Adam will continue to grieve for the child he lost with Sally, so Chelsea should have sympathy for her former flame as he tries to cope.
This would be an excellent time to stir up some old feelings between Chelsea and Adam.
Even if it doesn’t go anywhere, Adam could at least plant a kiss on Chelsea while he’s feeling vulnerable.
Perhaps Adam will just want to feel something with someone he cares about – if only for a moment.
Chelsea might be a source of familiar comfort for Adam, who could easily pull her in for a lip lock.
It’d be smart to give Chelsea and Adam a secret to keep from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
That could blow up Billy and Chelsea’s romance down the road, which might actually be a good thing.
Melissa Claire Egan’s maternity leave has to happen eventually, so maybe Chelsea and Billy could take a break after a shocking revelation.
It’d give Chelsea the opportunity to spend some time with her mom, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach), out of state and take Connor with her.
Regardless, Y&R fans can tell that Adam’s spinning out and searching for a lifeline.
Chelsea might become that lifeline for Adam, so we’ll give you updates if that leads to a kiss between these exes.
