The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) makes a final plea to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He decides to test the waters to fish for how Sally feels about him.
Adam wants to gauge her feelings by her reaction. Newman is confident he will be able to tell how she feels about him by her response to his question.
Sally reminds Adam that they agreed to pretend the kiss never happened. Of course, Adam cannot do that because he cannot get Sally out of his head.
After Adam apologizes for putting her in an awkward position, he asks her if she’s still in love with him.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally assumes that Adam is making another pitch for them to get together and ask her to stop seeing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Adam denies that is his motive.
Adam says he’s changing to be a better version of himself and wants to be completely upfront about his feelings.
He points out that the old Adam would avoid discussing this and self-destruct. He wants to be better, not only for himself but for everyone who cares about him.
Newman informs Sally that he doesn’t have an agenda. He just wants to have a frank conversation about their feelings for each other.
Adam knows that Sally wants stability in her life. Y&R spoilers say that Adam believes that’s why she picked Nick.
Nick’s loyal, secure, and stable. Deep down, Adam thinks that Sally still loves him, so he presses the issue to get her to admit those feelings.
Sally gets frustrated with Adam’s questions, and demands to know what he wants her to say.
Adam asks Sally if she’s still in love with him because if she is, she owes it to herself to tell Nick about the kiss and give them another shot.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally will confess to Nick during the week of October 2.
But does that mean she realizes she is still in love with Adam? We’ll have to keep watching the CBS soap to learn the details.
