The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will likely grant Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) request and deliver the dirt needed to gain the upper hand on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Although Adam has to be careful since he’s under a microscope with this new merger, he also can’t resist doing some plotting! Adam and Phyllis both have a scheming side, so that’ll make them excellent partners on this takedown mission.
Of course, Phyllis and Adam’s similarities could make them excellent bedroom buddies, too. Since they’re both single, Adam and Phyllis could easily fall into bed together and blow off some steam.
Adam has been frustrated for what feels like forever since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) shut him out romantically and fell for his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Sadly, Adam also faced the loss of his baby girl – and Sally initially blamed him for that loss in the aftermath.
On top of all that, Adam constantly has to deal with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) controlling nature and the fact that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is the golden child who always gets her way.
No one would blame Adam for wanting to hit the sheets with someone like-minded and equally exasperated. Phyllis could be just the hookup partner Adam needs right about now.
Phyllis made quite a mess for herself when she pretended she was gone forever.
The Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) revenge plot backfired big time, especially since Phyllis had to take Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) out in self-defense.
Now Phyllis is struggling to handle Tucker, make amends with her children and stay out of prison, so she could certainly use a little bedroom fun in her life.
Since Adam moved in Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) old place, he’s got the perfect home set for a passionate encounter. What’s the point in having privacy if you don’t take advantage of it?
Phyllis and Adam might even be headed for real Y&R couple status depending on how this storyline plays out.
Whatever the case, Adam and Phyllis at least deserve the chance to hook up and forget their problems for a while!
