The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may eventually decide he’s done moping and begging. We get that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is going through a lot right now, but that doesn’t give her a right to be so unbelievably cruel to Adam.
Y&R fans know Adam was placed in an incredibly difficult situation.
There were no guarantees that this very premature baby would be viable anyway, so Adam obviously made the right decision to put Sally’s life first.
Sally is grieving and looking for someone to blame, but it’s totally unfair to hold Adam responsible here.
As Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) pointed out, Adam lost a child as well and is hurting like Sally is.
Many viewers have been complaining because it feels like Adam has become the show’s favorite punching bag.
All Adam does is lose and suffer, so it’s easy to see how that could make him cold and hard for the new chapter he’s entering now.
Mark Grossman may have hinted about that chapter in a pic shared on his Instagram story.
There was a photo that seemingly featured Grossman in his Adam wardrobe with an ominous red filter.
At some point, Adam may determine that enough is enough.
Perhaps Adam will give up on groveling to Sally since it only brings him more pain when she refuses to forgive.
Even before all the baby drama, Adam faced rejections after rejection.
If it wasn’t Sally pushing him away, it was Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) denying him the Newman throne.
Now Adam is running a new empire since he’s the CEO of McCall Unlimited and has total autonomy.
Adam may make the most of that opportunity and step up his game against Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as well as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Of course, it’s possible that Adam could finally get his shot at the Newman Enterprises CEO seat, especially since Victoria’s putting too much faith in Nate and causing family drama.
Regardless, Adam’s character could take another conniving turn and make some wicked moves.
At this point, we wouldn’t mind watching Adam play dirty and cut himself off from caring.
If that’s what it takes to see Adam score some victories for once, then so be it!
Adam’s attempt to redeem himself has gotten him nowhere, so he may try something else and look out for number one.
