The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will eventually discover Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnancy, so it’s time to start thinking about how he’ll react to the baby updates.
Although Adam previously accepted Sally’s breakup decision, he may change his tune once a child’s involved.
Adam may become convinced the baby’s his and get hopeful about a new beginning.
That’s especially true since Adam has been feeling so lost and restless lately.
Adam has become overprotective of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), but that’s perhaps partly out of having no sense of purpose anymore.
Once Adam stopped devoting all his time to winning back Sally, there wasn’t much for him to do.
Y&R fans have watched Adam become aimless and moody instead.
Adam’s mission to reunite with Sally could soon be back on – especially if a paternity test proves Adam is the father of her baby.
Of course, there could be some DNA test deception along the way if someone meddles, but Adam makes sense as the “baby daddy” candidate who’ll be the real deal in the end.
Whatever the case, Adam may have a strong hunch this child is his from the get-go.
Perhaps Adam will somehow feel it in his heart and know this is all part of his destiny with Sally.
That’s the kind of thing that could drive Adam to deliver a grand gesture and hope Sally will change her mind about a future together.
Adam’s first marriage proposal was something he blurted out while jealous and somewhat drunk.
Although Adam stood by his offer to tie the knot afterward, Sally deserves a proper proposal – particularly if she’s carrying Adam’s child.
Adam might pull out all the stops with a romantic evening for Sally and let her know he wants to build a family with her.
Maybe Adam will pop the question all over again and hope Sally says yes this time around.
Naturally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may have something to say about all this as the other bio dad option involved.
Nick could just as easily be the father – at least until some paternity results offer proof one way or the other.
Unfortunately, “proof” isn’t always legit on a soap since so many paternity tests have been messed with over the years!
