The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is setting himself up for a big fall in more ways than one. For starters, Nate has been deceiving Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) with some manipulation tactics, which is obviously the wrong strategy when it comes to dealing with the Newmans.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), on the other hand, impressed Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) by coming clean about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) blackmail plot.
It allowed Audra to keep her job and potentially set the stage for a promotion down the road.
That brings us to Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) hint in the August 16 episode.
Let’s look at Tucker’s word of advice about Audra and consider the bad news that could be brewing for Nate.
“That woman is a self-centered and vicious person,” Tucker said. “She will take control of whatever she needs to get what she wants, and she’s very good at it. And you won’t see it coming.”

Of course, Tucker has known Audra longer than anyone else in Genoa City, so we can trust his judgment when it comes to her.
Although Tucker no doubt wanted to rattle Nate, there also seems to be a great deal of truth to his words.
Y&R may be spelling out the upcoming story for fans with Tucker’s latest hint.
Perhaps Audra will outmaneuver Nate with her own ambition in the coming weeks.
It could lead to Audra sliding in the Newman Enterprises COO spot down the road – and Nate may never see it coming just as Tucker predicted.
At some point, Nate’s inevitably going to screw up his relationship with Victoria beyond repair. When that happens, Nate may lose his COO position, too.
This could become Audra’s opportunity to rise in the ranks and steal that Newman Enterprises COO spot for herself.
Victor already approves of the way Audra handled the Adam situation and might support her promotion.
Victoria might also come around on Audra being her right-hand woman after Nate messes up spectacularly.
It’s easy to imagine Victoria swearing off men and deciding to work with Audra so that she can keep things strictly business this time around.
