The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may get an offer he can’t refuse. Although Billy wasn’t happy when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) promoted Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and announced it without approval, he was still willing to support his brother.
However, things are starting to shift now that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) are launching a new company of their own.
Ashley has plenty of experience when it comes to the health and beauty arena. Tucker also brings his own business knowledge to the table, so together they’ll become a force to be reckoned with.
During the week of July 10-14, Billy will strategize with Jack as they try to prepare for some serious competition.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will stay optimistic about going up against Ashley, but he could change his tune later.
Jack will hold an Abbott meeting behind Ashley’s back and plan to secretly remove her from the Jabot board.
Billy may grow concerned about Jack’s new habit of deceiving his family members and springing things on them without warning.
It could leave Billy wondering when Jack’s going to turn on him, too. That’s certainly an angle that Ashley could work when she inevitably tries to recruit Billy to play for her team.
The week of July 17-21 will put Billy’s loyalty to the test in a big way. Ashley may come along with an irresistible offer – one for a job that would challenge Billy and leave him more fulfilled in his work.
Perhaps Ashley will argue that Billy’s co-CEO position at Jabot just means he’ll always have to follow Jack’s orders.
Ashley might put Billy in charge of some amazing division at her company instead and promise total autonomy.
Then again, Billy could score another executive position and work closer to the top.
Even if Billy isn’t in the CEO seat, Ashley may argue that he’ll still have more of a say at her company that he’d ever get with Jack.
As long as Diane is part of the picture, Ashley predicts Jack and Jabot are headed for a downfall.
Maybe Ashley will urge Billy to jump ship before things get ugly and entice him with a new path forward.
The timing isn’t great since it looks like Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will accept Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) offer to serve as Marchetti’s new creative director.
Billy was looking forward to working in the same building with Chelsea, but he may end up moving on before they ever have the chance!
